Good luck on that.

My priest will not say anything political at all and if she did, I would probably be forced to get up and leave.

So, it’s a good thing she stays out of it.

Man, this Lew guy gets a reward for mastery of double-speak.

Contraception is now “preventative women’s health care”. Making health insurers give this stuff free is providing “access for women to health care”....heh.

When I was a young woman and needed BC, I PAID FOR MY OWN!

Preventing pregnancy is NOT a health care issue. Heart issues, cancer, diabetes....THESE are matters for health care insurers to deal with.

Preventing pregnancy IS, however, very much a political issue, dear Lord please let the American people see through this. How soon until health insurers must pay for Viagra? How soon before such as fixing our noses, lifting our brows, will be mandated?

I think that so-called “solution” presented Friday is silly and stupid and will never fly. Obamer and his merry band of minions just wanted to get this issue off the table.

“They are shutting Newt out since the NV presser.”

I thought his speach at CPAC was great! And, it looked like the crowd there did, too.

FOX News, Chris Wallace talk to Jack Lew, white house chief of staff.

Wallace asks Lew about o’s revised policy. Where does the pres get the power to order a private company to provide a product and to do it for free? Lew actually tells the truth - it comes from the obamacare law. lol.

Wallace reminds Lew that contraceptives cost money; Lew says it doesn’t in the long run. (Hey if we all get sterelized, we won’t have children, then those non-existent children won’t cost taxpayers any more money. Yeah, that’s a great plan!)

Lew, we made this compromise to put this issue to rest - (lol - time to move on, ignore that first amendment concern, obama has “compromised”)

Wallace continues to ask Lew about the “savings”. Wallace responds that’s only because of avoided pregnancies, right? This is what these institutions are against.

Lew - every women has the right to access to contraceptives. Wallace reminds Lew the Catholic church does not agree with offering/paying for them. Lew says a lot of Catholic groups actually embrace this policy. Wallace says, ney-ney - this is the Conference of Catholic Bishops, this is the most powerful group of Catholic organizations.

Whitehouse is NOT going to change - Okay - here we go - this is the line in the sand. obama has dared us.

Wallace says, This is why so many poeple were afraid of obamacare. The govt can now mandate what people have to do, what private business have to do, what religious instituions have to do. Wow - Wallace gets it!

All this illustrates the SUPREME importance of getting control of the senate this fall. It is the most important thing we can do, next to unseating Obama.

The senate has been a total dictator, refusing to even allow bills on the floor, refusing to allow debate.

It seems like something could be done about that, but I don’t know what as long as Reid is in the catbird seat with not enough strong conservative senators to buck him.

“Zeros handlers conveniently forget to say that the insurance companies will simply pass the cost on to whomever pays for insurance -—the public. These guys are nothing if not slick.”

Absolutely! The other thing that ticks me off is that they keep saying this is a womens’ health issue, and we’re denying women contraception. It is NOT a health issue and no one is being denied anything - if they want BC - go to Planned Parenthood - they are getting our tax $$s from the Fed and state gov’ts (based on what I heard).

Hannity can drive a three hour listener crazy especially a Freeper. But in actuality he's doing the right thing for his product.

He's in prime time drive and than repeated from 6-9 PM(Eastern) in many markets as well. Lots of his listeners tune in while driving on their way home for 15-30 minutes. If you want to bring everyone on board you have to repeat over and over ad-nausem.

The only one who can do that without killing the three hour audience is Rush. It took him years to figure out how to do it. Not everyone of the rest will be so lucky.

So okay, let me point this out, as I am wont to do.

I know John Boehner addressed this issue in the House and kudos to him.

But we need these elected guys to get out there and beat the hell out of this issue. And I speak not just for the political expediency of such an orchestrated effort. IT REALLY IS IMPORTANT!!!

I note that not one elected Republican is on any of these Sunday talk shows discussing this matter. Where is Mumbles McConnell? Why isn’t Boehner following up on his House speech?

The guys running for office are taking up the matter, good for them. But yon ladies and gems, this is what they mean when they call them the “establishment”.

DO NOT rock the boat, don’t deal with issues that might cause prevailing winds to shift, stay within the womb of DC and let Rush, the pundits, the guys running....take up the matter.

Democrats NEVER do this. Had this been a Republican admin that messed up so bad, Nancy Pelosi would be on all the shows, Reid would be out there, Schumer would be pontificating.

It’s why they win and we lose. Because of the precious ESTABLISHMENT.

To: who knows what evil?

Lew worked in the Clinton admin, Paul Wellstone was one of his faculty advisors, and apparently he is an Orthodox Jew that observes the Sabbath. Interesting that he’s pushing this as I heard someone (IIRC it was Leiberman) say the other day that sterilization is against the Jewish faith. And, I believe this mandate includes sterilization (though the Obummer mouthpieces only talk about birth control).

hahaha

Episcopal Church, my innocent friend.

We have two women priests, one female deacon and one male priest.

The Episcopal Church is a mixed bag. There are many conservative parishes and dioceses but, on the whole, it’s way liberal.

But I’m sticking with my church, I’ve gone to the same church for over 30 years, the people are wonderful and if they don’t ram their philosophy at me from the pulpit, I’m ok.

You gotta admit that obama is all govt. all the time and if they can kill any partially funded system like medicare/SS and make it 100% funded by govt. and then Cloward Piven everything they can overwhelm govt.budgets/spending getting their wish.

Also watching Santorum. He is a smart guy. Gregory is trying to pidgeon-hole him into a stereotypical Social Conservative bigot racist homophobe, but Rick is not accepting his premises.
I also imagine a lot of gender gappers are starting to consider him “electable” at this point.
