Where is Newt? Glad to see Romney decided not go go on the shows too. Saw Santorum on one show and he hit it out of the park.

Hannity may seem boring since he uses the same guests waaay to much. But if you listen to nothing else but his first half hour open,3:00-3:30 Eastern its always really good.Vintage Sean. After that you will have to endure,Dick Morris,a Rudy july,Ann Coulter and all the other good looking blonde chicks he plays over and over.

Even so,hes not # 2 because he follows Rush, the guy is good.

If minimum wage were indexed to inflation the following results would happen:

1. The continued posing of the democrats as “defenders of the working man” through minimum wage votes (which always end up passing) would be removed.

2. If minimum wage were indexed to inflation, we would suddenly see REAL inflation shown, instead of the fake low inflation we have now. (They are ignoring increases in fuel, food, and power.)

I am NOT saying I support this. I am just indicating that there would be some consequences that perhaps people don’t see. I am not certain Romney’s thinking on why he supports this so perhaps it would be good if he addressed this issue.

They are putting Santorum on all the shows today in the hopes he will “make news” and say something they can use against him. They are shutting Newt out since the NV presser.

Yeah, funny how she has those little accidents.

Looks like HBO was planning on her being the nominee and now has another turd movie they are going to lose their blouses on.

Round Table on ABC,

Donna Brazile - There is no compromise with the Catholic church on this issue ...she’s a Catholic...then goes on to make fun of Catholic’s view of “sex”.

George Will - this is what liberalism looks like - Serves the Catholic Bishop’s right on this issue. They were so hot for obamacare, and now this is what they get. Thinks it will be overturned by both houses in Congress.

Chaney - this is about the First Amendment and the economics of this. When Pres. announces free BC for all, who pays for this? Insurance companies....who pays the insurance companies?

David Ignatus - WaPo - whitehouse argues that is net reduction in cost with preventative care for women. (That argument is so old and so wrong, IMO).

Now Wallace asks her to compare Newt to Santorum.

What did she say?

It's far past time the Catholic Church leadership spoke up. For a long time, the Church I grew up in was led by money-grubbing Pharisees; the kind of people I imagined that Jesus chased from the Temple with a scourge.

But it is a telling point that the Catholic Church leadership, which has been laying down with Democrat dogs for so long and now wonders where all those fleas came from, don't object out loud until it costs them money.

I'll believe the Church is serious about this when Nancy Pelosi and John Kerry and (oh fill in the blank) are offered a chance to change their votes or be excommunicated. Or just excommunicated because nobody could ever believe them anyway. Until then it looks like a money issue from this former-catholic's view.

MTP panel talking about how the past week’s top stories: the WH/Catholic crisis, the 9th Circus Court overturning the CA Amendment and the Planned Parenthood dustup all being nightmares for Romney who only wants to hide from the social issues.

They claim Santorum is the big winner in all of this.

Thanks for the link. Much appreciated.

Still the question remains, does Claire still think it’s too early?

Palin could be helpful....

LOL

After The Speech at CPAC (which Fox dutifully ignored), I'm shocked that they'd let her near a camera or mike.

I've got this fundamental aversion to BS which keeps my Sunday Morning Dreadful viewing on the same plane as poking myself in the eye with a sharp stick, but I'm tempted to watch just this time in case A) Sarah spends most of the time driving Lew around the studio like the Gaderene swine or B) Somebody In Management pulls the plug on the entire show to keep A from occurring and we all get to watch Best of Whoraldo clips instead.

JMHO, the WH staff has finally concluded that they've just done a classic job of unreeling the ol' crank and trodding upon it with spiked boots, Lew's the designated scheisspeilmeister come to lead the media pimps in hymns of praise and the first shot out of the chute they get Sarah.

I think this is goin' to be fun.

The whole idea of cutting 2% out of medicare giving us a phony tax break was to destroy Medicare which was set up as a separate part of govt. paid separately by capitalism.

This is not who these people are! They are socialists! They want everything paid for by govt.

When medicare collapses they simply let the govt. take it over and then rule even more over their serfs. One way to do that is incrementally destroy all the things that capitalism(people pouring their own money into a quasi govt. fund) has built up like Medicare.

Slick. And it polls well.

Wallace asks her to compare Newt to Santorum. What did she say?

Well, I think she was trying to remain neutral and I didn't hear her drop any bombs, but she talked about Newt's massive intellect and said each candidate has their weaknesses, but all have some very good things to offer.

Did Kristol just say he thinks Paul could beat Romney?
