The former Marine wrote on his Facebook page that Child Protective Services officials came to his home in Stanly Co. on Saturday and interviewed him and his daughter — separately — after viewers of the video called with concerns about his actions.
He said the police also stopped by.
“The police by the way said ‘Kudos, sir,’ ” Jordan wrote. "I actually had a "thank you" from an entire detectives squad. And another police officer is using it in a positive manner in his presentation for the school system. How’s about those apples? Didn’t expect THAT when you called the cops did you?”

Its the police's job to investigate. Putting someone at ease is part of the process. I would not read anything into such comments from the police other than they are trying to get my guard down.

The liberal whiners and teenagers were out in droves with that video. If I had said any of those things about my parents my dad would have busted my arse. Today they call the authorities over a man, in his own property, with his own gun, shooting the laptop he paid for. Oy.

daddy is indeed a jerk.....this will come back to bite him probably pretty quick.....humiliating his dtr in front of millions over stupid silly teenage conversation....which all of us have done.....and besides....the parents might indeed be lazy...

I wish my dad had been around to care about anything I did. He was out screwing around while my mom had 7 kids. The eldest went to Nam and sent her more money than his father ever did. Same with the other 2 boys.
You may not like dad, but he sure does demand respect. I reckon he’s usually really easy going like God with Pharoah. there were 9 other times he did lesser punishments and this time was his favorite.

I’m guessing anyone who disagrees didn’t pay close attention to the whole video, especially the part where he says the divorced Mom requested him to fire another round off, in her name!
No need to crucify the daughter, or attack the dad, stepmother and mom.

No, I don’t think so. It was highly disrespectful of that girl to speak that way about her parents. Very sad. I never would have dreamed of speaking about my parents that way, even when I was very angry with my very strict mother. And what a little potty mouth she is, too.
I highy doubt the parents are lazy! The stepmom is a veterinarian with her own clinic and according to her website is working 5:30am to 8:30pm with foaling and calving. Dad has a few irons in the fire, too. He owns several businesses, if I recall correctly.
