Are conservatives losing their minds?
World Net Daily ^ | 2/15/2012 | Robert Ringer

Otherwise dependable conservatives appear to be losing their minds in their zeal to vanquish the media-created first family from the White House. Ann Coulter, a one-time paragon of hard-core conservatism, has confirmed a growing suspicion that she possesses a latent liberal streak. By endorsing and singing the praises of Mitt-the-Flip, her open affection for left-wing nasties like Joy Behar and Bill Maher no longer appear to be anomalies.

Not one to leave bad enough alone, Coulter did a spin piece Feb. 1 on Romney’s Obamacare model titled “3 cheers for Romneycare,” which ended with, “Romney is the most electable candidate not only because it will be nearly impossible for the media to demonize this self-made Mormon square, devoted to his wife and church, but precisely because he is the most conservative candidate.”

It was something one might have expected to be written by that other blonde – the one with the bird’s nest on her head – Debbie WassHerName. The column was so far out on the left limb of the political tree that it must have brought tears of joy to Michael Moore.

Coulter’s statement that “No one is claiming that the Constitution gives each person an unalienable right not to buy insurance” caused me to have an optical migraine. The Constitution doesn’t give people the right not to buy insurance? Huh?

I have to agree with this guy. I think Ann Coulter has lost her mind in her defense of Romney. It wasn't that long ago people thought that her and Rush should get together, have a baby and make the perfect conservative. What is going on with her. I was also extremely disappointed in Newt when he attacked Romney on the Bain Capital stuff and I think it backfired on Newt. Newt put me in the position of defending Romney. Something I loathed to do. All of this means that more and more it looks like we are going to have Mittens as our candidate. Arrrgggghhhhhh!!!!

Ann is just trying to support the most pro-homosexual of the Republican candidates. For rather obvious reasons.

It is simple, is it not? “Birds of a feather flock together” comes to mind and it certainly fits that the liberal democrat/rino Ann supports the libral/democrat rino Romney. And it also shows how that the conservatives must not elect either Romney the liberal obamacare supporter or Paul the antisemite bigot unless the GOP wants to be the slave of the left, which is their desire at this point.
I would rather support a third party conservative than a rino go along to get along liberal like Romney or antichrist man like Paul. Santorum is a conservative of moral values who would defend America from the enemy within, the democrat/communist party of those who hate God and family and country.
Conservatives must stand on morality or die the death of the wicked who pervert them.

As sson as her “boyfriend”, fat boy RINO Chris Christie came out and endorsed and campaigend for Romney, Coulter’s infatuation with Romney was bound to occur.

Yes, I think Ann Coulter has lost her mond - too many cigars and not enough cholesterol!!!

To make the switch from “I think of Ann Coulter as a conservative” to “I think of Ann Coulter as a leftist” is very easy.

Simple—Coulter abandoned conservatism.

We know this can happen to anyone. Principles don’t change—people do.

Ever think were in this situation because there isn’t a single conservative in this race? Newt is unpopular and his losing in the primaries shows it. Romney is boring. Santorum is a nobody. Palin runs her mouth from the sidelines. There’s not a party unifier.

Why does she have to be gay

I can't stand this constant use of the word "gay" to represent these sexual deviants. They are HOMOSEXUALS, and since they're so damn proud of what they are, they shouldn't be ashamed to call themselves HOMOSEXUALS.

Yes, I think Coulter is a homosexual: her quick acceptance of homosexual approval from those so-called Republican homosexuals should be exhibit A.

I will never read any of her columns nor buy her books again. She can giggle away any reference to her being a homosexual, but I'm convinced.

And her love affair with this central-casting, devoutly democratic Mittens Romney is absolutely disgusting. With what should be a very easy removal of this Kenyan-born illegal alien from our White House, it looks like there's a quite concerted attack from the dummycrats and the RINOs to keep the Kenyan-Commie in for four more years and the eventual and total destruction of America as we know it. Ann Coulter can go to HELL!

The bane capital attack actually did massive damage to Romney that is still being felt to this day and help Newt win a crushing victory in South Carolina.

I don’t think it was a mistake to point out how easily Mitt would be demonized in the general election from an attack from the left. Mitt’s whole justification for being the nominee is that he would be the most electable against Obama. If there is an attack that can be made easily from the left, right, or center that WILL be made ... don’t you want to know about that now and not after we have nominated him?

"don’t you want to know about that now and not after we have nominated him?"

By a supposed "conservative" doing the attack, it legitimizes the attack. We already knew that if Mittens was the nominee this was coming. Easily predictable. If Mittens does happen to be our nominee, now Obama will be running commercials not with him saying these things. But with Newt Gingrich talking about how evil Bain Capital is. Big difference and lends credibility to the attack. Look, I hope and pray that Mittens isn't the nominee, but if he is. He'll be ten times better than Obama as President. Just on judges alone he will be.

First of all, I got sick and tired of hearing people yell about Newt and Perry “attacking capitalism.” They did no such thing. They pointed out questionable business practices, and if one can’t do that without being called anti-capitalist, we have a problem.

As for Ann, she is 50 years old and single, with a history of dating liberal men. And she is increasingly shrill and hysterical. She needs a husband to anchor her sticklike butt down.

I have another theory, maybe Ann has the hots for Romney and thinks supporting him is a way of getting a date. Yo, Ann, the dude is married, give it up.
