Washington - Republicans in Congress are launching bids to nullify Obama administration rules that would speed up union elections and set new air pollution standards for the nation's oldest and dirtiest power plants. The rarely used tactic requires a simple majority for passage. Both have a chance at clearing the Senate, but a vote would force some Democrats to take a public stand on two volatile issues in an election year.

I’m glad to read this. Both of these new regulations are devastating for American business. I will watch with interest how this plays out.
I hope this is true but have been disappointed about the lack of cajones possessed by the GOP,,it’s like they share one set and the pair are never in the same place at once,,,so sad.
I see. When the GOP does something to effect legislation, it is a “tactic”. When the Rats do something totally unconstitutional, it is a “time honored tradition”. Thanks AP. You suck.

However, consider this sentence from the article:

The article reads:
“Both have only a small chance of clearing the Senate”
Harry won’t allow a vote at all IMO.
