Looking at some of the polls in Georgia on Real Clear Politics site taken only a few days after his 3 state victory Rick Santorum is moving up in the polls even in Georgia.
To: Steelfish
In one of the polls in Ga, Newt and Rick are only 9 points apart, the poll was taken 2/9/12

Romney’s up on Santorum by 8 in Arizona as of a Rassmussen poll yesterday, and I have a feeling Santorum has peaked.

Time to send Rick Santorum’s campaign some more money to help him.

No, on the contrary, it looks like Romney is the one who peaked in Arizona.
Rick's numbers are going up in Arizona and Georgia.

I’m amazed he’s that close. It’s supposed to be Mormon country, and they reelected McCain after all.

Arizona has a lot of Mormons and they have a big temple in Mesa, one of the biggest in the US. And though they may now be outnumbered by retirees, many of those will split the vote with Ron Paul doing well - when I was over there earlier this week I saw Ron Paul signs, some homemade, out and about. So if Santorum or Gingrich out poll Romney, it will be monumental.

Rasmussen Reports
As of 2/1/12 Romney was 48 and Santorum was 13.
As of 2/16/12 Romney is now 38 and Santorum is 31.
So yeah, Romney is in trouble in Arizona, and Michigan, and Newt has Rick Santorum on his heals on Georgia.

The world’s most successful cult may have a shot at occupying the White House. Sign of the times?

Is he really broke? I sent him some money in January when everyone was writing him off because I thought he was really broke. I really couldn’t afford it then since we’re 50% unemployed in my house, but the big money guys usually will only support someone after they have momentum.

The map at the link shows that Arizona has three existing temples and two more under construction in the Phoenix area. There must be a vibrant population there to support such expansive buildings.

I hope so, I am tired of having the Republican candidate chosen for me, first Dole, than McCain now Romney.

Santorum will not win Goldwater's little (l)ibertarian Arizona.
Won't happen.

No, he has not. Every Sunday that goes by during the run-up the elections: He will gain more supporters on Mon and beyond.

Its more like Blue-collar and anti-snob revenge. Santorum's dad was Blue-collar; about the only way I see Santorum being able to claim "blue collar" status is that he's been so sympathic to labor unions, voting AGAINST right to work laws. Santorum was a lawyer, has (I believe) an MBA and a law degree, and has spent most of his life as a Senator, and I think also as a lobbyist. He is certainly a "snob" in some ways -- he lectures the rest of us about morality and one gets the sense that he looks down on repentent sinners such as Newt because he believe himself morally superior. He is arrogant, and arrogance is a form of snobbery.
I'd rather have Newt, who has demonstrated true humility, doesn't presume to lecture ME and MINE about "values" and morality, and doesn't pretend to be something he's not.
Godspeed Newt Gingrich.
