A Colorado student who refused to sing a song praising Allah quit the choir this week. This morning FOX and Friends reported that James Harper quit school in Grand Junction after receiving death threats.
Harper received the death threats after the story broke this week. The school defended its decision to sing the song to Allah.

If that was a Christian song they would have put all the teachers and administrators in jail...and sent the kids off for re-education in a nice summer camp.
But she didn't have nationwide exposure on a subject that would have Muslims on campus wanting to try to kill her, which was the actual thing I was worried about for him.
I believe that for a strict Muslim singing a song to allah would in itself be blasphemous.
And the first 'lib' who led the way was George W. Bush and his "Islam means peace" misstatement of the facts.
Public school choirs all over America are still singing religious songs. My daughter’s last concert included at least 5 religious songs. They’re chosen for their style and beauty, not for their message. This isn’t a violation of any court ruling.
Your friends make me want to move back to Colorado Springs. I imagine at some point, The Springs will be the last territory of Christianity.
But I am confused, did this kid quit the choir, or the school ?

Obama may have made the mistake of making his move to sharia a little too quickly. Between the dhimmi tax in Obamacare (basically, since it forces Christians to violate their own religion and imposes a fee for Christians that Muslims don’t have to pay), the food police telling a little girl in NC(?) that she couldn’t have the cheese and turkey sandwich, chips, banana, and apple juice that her Mom put in her lunch, and now the Islamist moves in CO followed by death threats to a high school boy who quit the choir rather than violate his own belief system.... I’m hoping people will wake up to where this is all headed.

The kid quit the choir because he didn’t want to sing that song. He wanted them to change it; they refused so he quit. Now he’s getting death threats to the point that his family doesn’t believe he can be safe in a public school.
That’s a problem, wouldn’t you say?

Really? Wow, I didn’t know that. At my niece’s “Winter Celebration” or whatever they call it (can’t have a Christmas special anymore), there were zero religious-themed songs. I just assumed that it was a public school thing.

So public schools can't have prayer, can't sing Christmas carols or have plays about Jesus' birth, and have to call the Christmas vacation "winter recess", and so on. But they can sing songs glorifying Allah and then the one kid who has guts gets death threats? When is the pro-Muslim insanity going to end?
