“I guess he’ll have to homeschool the remainder of his senior year. God knows what this will do to his college plans.”

There will be some adjustments, of course, but I wouldn’t be surprised if the media attention lands him some extra financial aid from the few remaining conservative colleges.

You must be right. Colorado Al Queada is the worst! Much worse than a teenage boy looking for attention. Because when I was in school the boys in the choir were always the most popular.

The story did not talk about the threat. E-mails? Brick through the window? Sword wielding arab on a camel? What exactly?

Whatever happened to the poor lad it seems to have scared him so bad that it has caused him to speak with an effeminate lisp (he sounds just like Rush’s imporession of a metrosexual). I can’t imagine that this he-man had ever been given a rough time at high school before.

You’re being played by a teenage boy looking for atttention, and a way to keep from having to go to school because he’s picked on.

And the police will say —you brought it all on yourself.
and do nothing. And the telephone will say they can give you a list-but it will cost—and they can change your phone number —but it will cost— and you can buy the little recorders —and perhaps get one rigged to record all calls -but that may or may not violate the law —my point is why should he —or his family be penalized —but not the cowards who are posing these threats?

I suspect the Islamo-fasciests are more likely local atheists and “free thinkers” or perhaps just other kids poorly educated both by their own parents—and by the public schools.
The threats are most likely intended to silence the student—and no serious threat. But hey, they seem to have accomplished their goal -eh?

Public school choirs all over America are still singing religious songs. My daughter’s last concert included at least 5 religious songs. They’re chosen for their style and beauty, not for their message. [Singing an Islamic song] isn’t a violation of any court ruling.

sand lake bar.... Allah Ak Bar....

Hmmmmmm.....

No, the lesson is that religious music may be performed in public school choirs and orchestras.

Many teachers and administrators don’t understand the law on this, or they just avoid risking controversy. In general, the higher the grade level or quality of the choir, the more likely it is that they’ll include some religious music.

Just givin’ you the facts, Jack. Nice [thing is that I am an avowed Islamic jihadist who kills little children and women for Allah].

Dude. Repent from your evil ways! Allah is not God. Why would you worship and kill for an evil Moon god?

Why thank you! Now, if we can just get you to stop embracing Islam, we'll be all set!

The lesson taught is that religions are equal and that the prettiness of the music and good beat is important but the religious message can be ignored.

Fundamentally....It is impossible to have a religiously neutral education. This is one of the **major** reasons why government education must be abolished.

Government, socialist-entitlement, K-12 schooling is a freedom of conscience and First Amendment abomination.

You argue what should be, and in that I agree. But what should be isn’t the case right now. So people have to take precautions.

Importantly, both suggestions still apply, because while the police won’t do anything, it will “put them on your side” in case something happens. Likewise, while the phone company won’t give the data to you unless you pay them, if you request they preserve it, they probably will, so if needs be you can refer the police to them.

It also means that a person must take some common sense precautions to protect their home and family, both at home and while out in public.

As a rule of thumb, such people as would attack you are likely cowardly, impulsive, not particularly smart, and neither plan nor carry out their attack effectively.

For example, making a death threat is highly stupid. So is stalking. But if you can nail them for that, instead of putting five rounds in them, it’s just as good for ending the threat.

But if phone records show they called you, then they showed up and you put five rounds in them, the odds strongly favor the DA just shrugging and saying “Castle Doctrine. Have a nice day.”

Your logic path is broken.

The threats were a response to his refusal to sing an ISLAMIC SONG!

He’s not being threatened by atheists for his Christian motivations.

Todays Daily Sentinel-gjsentinel.com page one story tells that the police have looked at both the threats made against the student—and threats against the teachers, and School district and conclude no laws have been broken. And they suggest most of the threats seem from out of town with NO /or
little connection to the facts of the case. I do believe the threats are -for the most part just venting. As I did myself.
I stand my speculation that the threats against the boy were probably by the local atheists and free thinkers who oppose any any attack against anyone but Christians. Because I am not aware of any Mosques in town-but they are a cancer and prefer to hide and mimic a host until they are strong enough to destroy him.

The young man’s name is all over the internet. His liberal school counselors will mention his decision in their letters of recommendation. University admissions offices will be aware and respond predictably.
