Female Combat Pilot Wants to Kick Santorum 'in the Jimmy' for Remarks on Women

A retired female fighter pilot running for former Rep. Gabrielle Giffords' open seat in Congress said Friday that Rick Santorum's recent remarks on women in combat make her want to "go kick him in the jimmy."

Martha McSally, a retired US Air Force colonel and a veteran of the war in Afghanistan, is running in Arizona's congressional special election as a Republican. According to her Facebook page, she was the first American woman to fly in combat since the 1991 lifting of a ban on women in that role.

Appearing Friday morning on FOX News Channel's "FOX & Friends," she called the Republican presidential candidate "completely out of touch" for saying that the "emotions" felt by men seeing a female soldier in harm's way may jeopardize their mission.

From Wiki:

McSally graduated from St. Mary Academy - Bay View and then the United States Air Force Academy in 1988. She earned a Master's degree from Harvard University's John F. Kennedy School of Government.

She earned her wings at Laughlin AFB, Texas and was initially assigned as a First Assignment Instructor Pilot (FAIP) in the T-37. She was selected for Lead-in Fighter Training (LIFT) in 1993, completed the Replacement Training Unit for the A-10 Thunderbolt II, was assigned to an operational A-10 squadron and was deployed to Kuwait in January 1995. During that deployment, she flew combat patrol over Iraq under Operation Southern Watch, enforcing the no-fly zone. In 2000, she reported to Joint Task Force Southwest Asia (JTF-SWA) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia for a temporary assignment in support of Operation Southern Watch.

In July 2004, she took command of the A-10 equipped 354th Fighter Squadron, and was subsequently deployed to Afghanistan under Operation ENDURING FREEDOM, where she employed weapons in combat for the first time. In 2005, McSally and her squadron were awarded the David C. Shilling Award, given by the Air Force Association for the best aerospace contribution to national defense.

Great, we need more women on the front lines of combat. Let’s be like the muslims and put our women in harm’s way.

With all do respect, being a combat pilot is different than being a marine or army grunt.

It’s a different situation when you have bombs dropping around you, then dropping bombs.

He has 7 kids. He most clearly has a “Jimmy” and not a “Jill”.

What happens when a female pilot gets captured?

The Israelis do it, too.

They used to, didn’t work. Now feminazis are trying again. I’m not going to bother finding links, did it a few days ago, and people who don’t want to know the facts won’t read them.

For me, it’s not that part that bothers me. Many men get raped when they are in enemy hands. War is hell and terrible things happen to captured combatants.

However, it’s the simple fact that it’s reality that military readiness goes to pot when a femles screams and the males are reacting to the screams.

It wouldn’t surprise me, if some of the battles lost in Iraq and Afghanistan had to do with this simple fact.

There is room in the military for females, just not field combat conditions.

The Israelis took women out of combat positions. The great socialist egalitarian experiment didn’t work, and because wrecking your military with women in positions that they don’t handle well would have profoundly negative consequences for Israel, they decided to chose survival over making the feminazis happy. We, on the other hand, are evidently committed to indulging feminist fantasies at the cost of weakening our military.

Whether she chooses to like it or not, his statement is a fact, IMO.

Not politically correct, but oh well.

My question to her would be simple. Since she is a woman, how in the hell would she know what a man thinks or feels in such a situation?

Having women soldiers fight is very different than using civilian women and children as shields.

For myself I think women ought to be able to fight BUT ONLY when the women in question need no extra accommodation or relaxing of standards of strength and ability. Especially no hiring quotas. For example if a woman wants to be in the infantry, she must meet the same PT requirements as the men are required to. Must be comfortable taking a piss without a toilet right in front of the other soldiers. And must be able to keep herself from getting sexually entangled with her fellow soldiers. Now I suspect very few women meet that criteria...but those that do should be allowed to serve in then infantry if they really want to.

This can't be true, because I have it in writing from my elective representatives that BY LAW there are NO females in combat roles in the Armed Forces.
