Arizona Senator John McCain, the man who lost to Barack Obama after trying to pull the "my friends" card on both his opponent and the media, is expressing concern about the negative tone of the GOP primary race.
Former Republican presidential nominee Sen. John McCain (Ariz.) said Sunday he’s worried the negative tone in the GOP campaigns could help President Obama win a second term in the White House.
“I think there's reason to be concerned about it,” said McCain on ABC’s This Week.
"I've been in very tough campaigns. I don't think I've seen one that was as personal and as characterized by so many attacks as these are.”
Reality check: McCain wasn't tough against Obama, hence the reason he lost. Romney would be smart not to take McCain's advice on this issue.
Hey Juan McAmnesty ... S T F U ! RINO LOSER! McNitWit is the PROBLEM and not the solution.
Bravo !
The newest version of Strom Thurman is as senile as the deceased original was.
McLame may go neg when he sees this tonight>>>
@fivethirtyeight: Our forecast model now has Santorum up ~5 in Michigan. That works out to a 72% chance of winning.
@ppppolls: Our AZ numbers (out tomorrow) and WA ones (out Tuesday) are good for Santorum
I’m more conviunced every day that he was brainwashed by the communists when he was in captivity!
I’ve always felt that in 2008, McCain was at the point where the idea of getting to run for President was far more important to him than actually winning the election. Not so much “it’s my turn,” ala Bob Dole in 1996. Dole ran a terrible campaign too, but he was fighting (however ineffectively) Clinton up until Election Day. No, I think McCain was thinking primarily of his place in the history books and the “statesman” image he’s always been in love with instead of trying to grind out a win in 2008. Thus the deference to Obama, the occasional admonition to supporters at his rallies, etc.
I like it Onyx!
LOL.
He’s such an A##.
Across the aisle John is out of step with reality. He never challenged Bama’s philosophical foundations or policies but thought that he was just another Dem from our historical past;like Truman or JFK or even LBJ. Bama is not like any other Dem except the SDS, Van Jone, Wright , Alinsky types and John never got that. I think many Pubs finally see who Bama is though I must admit, only Newt and Rick seem to understand that as they campaign.
Santorum? He voted YES to confirm her appointment.
A fact for his supporters to chew on.
