I think you’re right - but Newt also has made the mistake of being too obsessed with Mitt and ignoring Obama and Santorum - two he should be paying attention too.

Newt walking back statements? I just dont see that in him. None of my business who you are supporting but if it happens to be Santorum, he does a better job than michael jackson doing the moonwalk. He has spent the past week either clarifying, or denying, or claiming he as been taken out of context. If he would stop the rambling, said less and made his point clear we wouldn’t all be trying to interpret.. If santorum is the one, he better get it together real soon, because if Newt is rejected, it will be too late for remorse come the first debate with Obama.

You think we need you to do us a "favor" by thinking for us. If anything you come across as jealous of Gingrich's noted intellectual prowess.
It was the tens of millions of dollars on negative ads that were spent for Romney which caused Gingrich his setbacks. So your "two weeks" prediction based only on jealous vindictive, is not only additional proof of your own hubris, but also more than just a little bit weird.
Go write 25 books and be a serious candidate for president, and then come back to your strange competition against Newt.

People make too much out of lefty media cooked polls to influence the voters, to call Santorum the “front runner”. After all so far, he has ONLY THREE pledged delegates. He may have won caucuses with 0 delegates pledged, he’s still the last of four. Even Paul had more delegates than him - 8.

If we elect a president by the number of kids,

This interview was from Spring, 2009. Dennis originally endorsed Cain a couple months ago, but then unendorsed him during the adultery scandals and switched to Newt, but then backed off Newt sometime between the Bain Capital controversy and the Florida primary. I think he was leaning to Romney after that but I’m not sure where he stands now between Romney and Santorum.

It was brought about by Mitt Romney lying about Newt's record. Even Charles Krauthammer and Dick Armey, no big fans of Newt, went on TV and said Mitt's statement during the Florida primary that Newt "resigned in disgrace" was factually untrue.
