Barry Goldwater. He didn’t win, but I wasn’t old enough to vote then either.

Decided to tip my hat to George Washington, without whom we would probably not have had a country in the first place.

Thank goodness that Presidents' Day is over.
It galls me to watch George Washington and Abe Lincoln dancing and prancing on the TV, trying to sell cars, furniture, bedding, etc.

Here's the latest:
- Ronald Reagan; 52.72% (582)
- George Washington; 15.94% (176)
- Abraham Lincoln; 7.52% (83)
- Bill Clinton; 6.79% (75)
The Gipper is kicken Billy-Jeffs butt :-)
But my 'favorite' POTUS wasn't on the list: Millard Fillmore, our 13th President. So I went with Washington, The Father Of Our Country, and the man who could have been a King. And not because of Glenn Beck's latest book.
Fillmore is my 'favorite' POTUS solely because the man gets ZERO respect and when I was kid in Elem School -- Ike was POTUS at the time -- 'they' said Fillmore was our worst president. I never bought that. He sure wasn't perfect, but far from 'the worst'.

Serious people would always answer Washington. This doen’t minimize Reagan or Lincoln.
Washington could have been King.

Not that I have a problem with Reagan, but how does he even come close to Washington. Another indictment of our glorious educational system.
Let’s face it, George Washington brought a very diverse nation together and presided over the creation of the USA.
