Is Media Matters Obama's Watergate? - Jarrett, Dunn the new Ehrlichman? White House, PIs.
The American Spectator ^ | February 21, 2012 | Jeffery Lord

Posted on 02/21/2012 4:09:14 AM PST by Cincinatus' Wife

......................."So. Media Matters, we learn, is having weekly strategy calls with the White House, they meet with Obama aide Jarrett and ex-aide Dunn, who returned to the White House for the meeting after she departed. Anita Dunn also "became a regular presence" in the Media Matters offices, the then-president of Media Matters "lunched with her, met with her and chatted with her frequently on any number of occasions."

And what else? What raises the specter of Tony Ulasewicz?

This. From Media Matters' Karl Frisch:

"We should hire private investigators to look into the personal lives of Fox News anchors, hosts, reporters, prominent contributors, senior network and corporate staff."

Now. Not to put too fine a point on it, but this is exactly the behavior that got Tony Ulasewicz parked in a chair in front of the Senate Watergate Committee, sitting under the hot klieg lights staring into television cameras on July 18, 1973. Being grilled by Tennessee Republican Senator Howard Baker and liberal Connecticut Republican Senator Lowell Weicker. Ulasewicz proved to be a hilarious witness, his breezy descriptions of delivering cash in paper sacks finally causing his interrogators to laugh. But in light of what we now know about Karl Frisch, David Brock, the relationship of Media Matters to White House aide Jarrett, ex-White House aide Dunn and the money paying for Media Matters' operations, it's worth a look back at some of Baker and Weicker's grilling of Tony. Because in the end, what Tony was talking about helped send John Ehrlichman to jail -- and force Richard Nixon to resign on threat of impeachment:"..............

Is what they did against the Law? I know Media Matters meets weekly with a White House staffer (per Hannity). But, are they breaking the Law? Sad to say, nothing seems to stick to the Marxist, Muslim, Homosexual (I still believe Larry Sinclair and others) that we have in the White House.

The press isn't going to touch anything about Obama scandals, he belongs to the right party and they all voted for him....media matters is also part of the party of the press....republicans have no back bone to fight, they never did and never will...I was actually shocked that the house managed to impeach Clinton. But the house was in republican hands and had a few men with a backbone...the republican senate gave him a pass, typical....empty scrotums....

The shocking part is that CBS, ABC, NBC, CNBC, MSNBC, the LA Times, The NY Times, The Washington Post, et al were not there... or were they? They’re all in for the Kommy Kenyan!

This is a wet dream.

The Media is in the tank for Obama and we aren’t going to get them out.

If Fast & Furious didn’t hurt Obama, nothing will.

His black half is a get out of jail free card.

The msm isn’t talking about it, so this isn’t happening.

Nothing to see here, move along.....

“The Media is in the tank for Obama and we aren’t going to get them out.”

Yes, the left identified ‘ownership’ of the media as a route to power, and they were correct. The only way to dismantle their lock on the media is to create new media outlets that outcompete the old media and destroy them economically.

We should not stand for this.

We can not just say, “nothing will be done.”

To do that, is to give them no reason to ACT!

The conservative base is confounding the GOP-E and we need to continue to press our standards!!!

Media Matters gets support from a many leftist “tax free foundations” like the Tides Foundation and Dyson Foundation. Interesting about Dyson, a good number of their 100K+ donations go to Media Matters, Center for American Progress (its coconspirator) and of course planned parenthood.

If we ever get control of this government back, first order of business is to get these political action groups deemed tax free off the rolls IMO.

I agree but lets face it the MSM are for obama, they will never ever report on what he is really doing as they voted for him and spent a lot of time getting him elected.

The GOP are spineless, cowards, a bunch of pansy’s.
Hell they can go after Newt because they knew he would not be a yes man and he would rock the boat but so long as the elitist in the party keep their power and money then all is OK don’t rock anything.
Look at FOX, they have been for Romney, joined in the attacks against Newt but now are being forced to mention at least Santorum but see how they ignore Newt at all costs.

As for conservatives, lets face it we have many who sit on their arses, never get out and make calls, send mail etc to the media, to the GOP, to the reps around the country when a bill comes up which we are against.

Hell we have freepers I bet who complain on here but never make a call, or send mail
We have many who can’t even mention the conservative side to family at Christmas or family reunions , can’t mention the gun running to family, neighbors, friends, at work etc.

Lets face it the left has the MSM, they have the money, and they have organization unlike us.

They can get people forced off the TV we can’t even get 50 calls.

I agree. We should be shining a bright light on these rich tax-exempt entities whenever Obama and his crowd start complaining about ‘the rich not paying their fair share’.

Especially since most of them are pro democRAT shills.

Note how the left and the media go after both of the supporters of Santorum and Gingrich and the Koch Brothers. No mention of any of these leftist, feminist, homo loving, enviroterrorist groups, not a peep because they support the RATs.

The takeover of the country has been virtually accomplished now...Ozero now just has to beat down the few embers of freedom and liberty left.

“The takeover of the country has been virtually accomplished now...”

Maybe for the short term, but socialism always fails, and those that embrace it in this country will fail as well.

Watching “All the President’s Men” seems rather vanilla now, since so much goes on that is so much worse that what Nixon did, that one wonders what all the hullabaloo was about.

Deep throat said “Follow the Money” but now days, that’s like saying, “get in a canoe and travel the Mississippi.”

My thoughts precisely.

After Fast and Furious, I'm convinced Obama could engage in ritual human sacrifice on live TV and the media would make excuses for him and cover it up.

We have NO greater threat to our nations future and security then the treasonous actions of our so called main stream media.
