Four years after winning the White House, Obama is dealing with a different economic and political reality as he seeks re-election. Four years ago, former US Senator Obama claimed that the United States was in the biggest economic downturn since the Great Depression, falsely, since the recession was then mild and would have disappeared quickly but for the massive waste of his far left policies. Today, the reality is far different. Thanks to Stimulus, TARP, Bailout, Cash-for-Clunkers, and ObamaCare, we now really do have the worst economy since the Great Depression.

Sadly there are a whole lot of people in this country who’d trade their birthright for that.
A (free) house
Health care (paid for by somebody else)
A Job (that does not require too much out of you)
A (free) education
Retirement (on a piddly pension at an early-enough age)
If that was all guaranteed you’d have people lining up for it.
