WASHINGTON (AP) - This time around, President Barack Obama's message can sound decidedly down-to-earth.
Four years after winning the White House, Obama is dealing with a different economic and political reality as he seeks re-election. He's focused less on a lofty vision for overcoming divisions and remaking Washington, and more on the most basic building blocks of middle-class economic security: a job, a house, a college education for the kids, health care, money for retirement.
What Obama describes as the American Dream can seem a spare, fundamental aspiration, tailored for a campaign that looks to be fought over who is best equipped to safeguard the interests of middle-class Americans.

Obama peddles a major American nightmare.
At the pace Obama is running up the debt, pretty soon the American dream will be getting every other Sunday off from your Chinese owned farm or mine and a loaf of real bread celebrating Obama's birthday.

Four years ago, former US Senator Obama claimed that the United States was in the biggest economic downturn since the Great Depression, falsely, since the recession was then mild and would have disappeared quickly but for the massive waste of his far left policies. Today, the reality is far different. Thanks to Stimulus, TARP, Bailout, Cash-for-Clunkers, and ObamaCare, we now really do have the worst economy since the Great Depression.

A Job (that does not require too much out of you)

Retirement (on a piddly pension at an early-enough age)

Was talking w/ a former co-worker of mine. She’s in her late 20’s. She told me she wouldn’t mind it if we turned to socialism ...because, well, she couldn’t tell me why, really. And yet, she’s “really sick” of the entitlement mentality of so many Americans.
Really — a LOT OF people like this really don’t understand much of ANYTHING. They are HIGHLY uninformed, unsure about what they believe ...and yet Obama and the Dems come along with all their simpleton slogans and memes and they’re just easy to grab onto ....and this is what forms their thinking!
I had to clarify SO many things for her ...she had such a lack of basic understanding of the problems we face, it was just frightening.
What Republicans and conservatives really need to do is start RE-EDUCATING Americans! They’re seriously, seriously STUPID!! A smaller minority of them is just plain dumb AND evil, but I think in the end, general stupidity and ignorance is the problem.(brought to us by our public skools, of course).
Add that stupidity to the current CRAP about abortion and birth control and you get a bunch of self rightous hyped up ginned up ZOMBIES who know absolutely nothing about which they are voting. THAT is who we’re up against!!
He is peddling something that previously was beyond the reach of the permanent underclass and unassimilated/illegal aliens, and now he’s hoping that 51% of voters think the only way they can attain it is with him.
The “owning a home” thing probably will happen; they’re going to have to start giving them away as the demand slumps further. Everybody will “own” a home, though most recipients are going to be horrified that their recipient neighbors are useless parasites like themselves.
Obama can go peddle his his ass out of the US and take his rotten fruit with him.
Regardless of anyone thinks of Obama, this is exactly what is occurring, on a large scale. People are being economically gang raped over medical issues.
Millions of private sector Americans have had their job contributed/provided medical insurance slashed, reduced to near worthlessness, or just eliminated all together, and are and will be wiped out, loosing their homes etc, simply due to the insane cost of medical care/treatment.
This is real.
Not my Dream, but it could be my dog's Dream:
Free home, food, and health care.
Free education (Sit, Down, Stay, Come)
Easy job: Watch family, bark at intruders.
Retire at 49 (in human years)
