Ping!
Hoopla! Showing an ID is hoopla? Two people on this vid are morons!
Hey you knitwits!! Try buying a six pack of beer or a bottle of wine at Pick and Save. Oh shazam...... you have to show an ID. Buyers Disenfranchised........ scream from the rooftops. Pick & Save grocery chain is gainst seniors and minorities.../s
Give me a break. Those people on the video must understand voter fraud is rampant across this country.
Let’s add this up. You can’t get any narcotic drugs at your pharmacy without a ID. You can’t get any discounts via your health insurance deal...without an ID of some type. You can’t buy beer, wine or booze in any state...without an ID or at least looking fairly old (over 30). You can’t drive a car, register a vehicle, or pay your taxes...without some form of ID. You can’t open a bank account with an ID. You can’t cash a check without an ID. Wanna walk into a stripper’s club? Most will ask for an ID if you look 18. Wanna join the military? You need an ID. Want to buy a rifle? You need an ID.
This argument about IDs is mostly comical and not worth discussing. If everyone is upset about this....just make a law that you don’t require an ID to buy booze and watch how many folks get visibly upset about that suggestion.
Can’t get the video to play, but I worked the polls from 6:30 AM until 1:30 PM and we did not have ONE SNGLE complaint. In fact, we had many people thank us for asking for the ID and for their signatures.
Wisconsin Voter ID ping
Freep Mail me if you want on, or off, this Wisconsin interest ping list.
Strange, the video worked earlier. I can’t get it to work now either.
Thanks for working at the polls!
Given the low voter turn out, I took my just-18 yr olds to register and vote for the first time. It was smooth sailing all the way!
Can’t play videos at work, but I worked the polls yesterday, too (1:30-close). We had a couple of people who said they were providing them “under protest”, but everyone else walked in with photo id ready to display to the poll workers.
I was hoping more people would at least come in and register. The presidential elections are absolutely NUTS for the people working the new registration tables!!
