That’s what Pelosi said in 2006:

Americans this week are paying $2.91 a gallon on average for regular gasoline – 33 cents higher than last month, and double the price than when President Bush first came to office.”
That’s what Pelosi SHOULD say in 2012:
“With skyrocketing gas prices, it is clear that the American people can no longer afford the Democratic Rubber Stamp Congress and its failure to stand up to Democrats’ big oil and gas company cronies. Americans this week are paying $4 a gallon on average for regular gasoline and more than double the price than when President Obama first came to office (when the gallon cost $1.87).”
It’s funny, to me, when people on our side point out the left’s hypocrisy in all these issues - every one of them, in fact,
without recognizing that, to the left, these issues are just means to an end.
Their only “morality” is the “Will to Power”.
Their unstated goal is heaven on earth, through humanist dominionism. And such a worthy goal justifies ANY means necessary.
