ANCHORAGE, Alaska - A recent spike in HIV infections has been linked to military men in Fairbanks.
The Anchorage Daily News (http://bit.ly/ybxrzi ) says newly-released public health data shows that the increase is linked to military men finding sex partners online.
Data shows that the outbreak involves nine cases of HIV infection from Jan. 1, of last year to Jan. 31 of this year.
The state Department of Health and Social Services says from 2007 through 2010, the number of HIV cases reported in the Fairbanks area was fairly stable.
However, that changed this last year. Health officials say of the nine people infected last year, eight were men who had sex with other men. Seven were either in the Army in Fairbanks or had sexual partners in the military.

Dont ask.....Dont tell...just infect.

“A recent spike in HIV infections has been linked to HOMOSEXUAL military men in Fairbanks.”
There. . .fixed it. . . .
LOL. They spent too much time spent on the escort section of backpage.com or adult friend finder. Probably all sexed the same local woman with HIV.
oops never mind. Saw it was with other men.
Great. Just great.
So, if someone in the military, and contracts HIV like this cluster of homosexuals in Fairbanks, will they be eligible for veteran’s benefits, and will their HIV be considered a Service Connected Disabliltiy which will qualify them for lifelong benefits?
Yes.
They will get out of the military and claim 100% VA disability and milk the system for the rest of their lives. They (Homo, queer bait, rump rangers)stick it in each others tool box but it’s us that gets screwed!
Yes, but only if they’re homosexual.
Not only that, but while they remain on active duty, they will be classified as "non-deployable," so if their unit is sent overseas, they will remain in a stateside assignment, while somebody else gets to go in their place.
I wouldn't be surprised these days if the military lets them finish out their careers in non-deployable desk duty billets and then lets them retire with a pension (as well as VA disability).
Good. I hope this keeps happening. When the services have a base full of non deployable homos maybe something will be done about it.
Didn't see your post when I wrote mine. GMTA and all that.
I used to joke with some of my junior sailors when they'd ask, "is it possible to stay on shore duty all the time?" and I'd say, "yeah, get AIDS." Not really much of a joke anymore.
Well, they've already been shot in the butt.
Remember when you never had to worry about blood from a military blood drive?

Homosexuals, who are about 1.5% of the population, contribute to about 65% of the reported STDs in the USA.
“Health officials say of the nine people infected last year, eight were men who had sex with other men” Now the reporter should have added 89% of the new HIV cases involved homosexual men having sex with homosexual men!
