Predictions/Scoring/Drinking Game Rules:

Romney - Pretend like your watching Sesame Street. Today's Mitt Romney is brought to you by the word "Earmark" which you'll probably here from his mouth a zillion times trying to counter a Santorum attack (along with that creepy staredown grin that nobody ever calls him on). Take a drink whenever he does either. If Santorum or Newt draw blood, he's in more trouble. But even if he draws, depending on the circumstances, it may still not be enough.

Santorum - In tonight's play, Barack Obama will be played by Mitt Romney, in which Santorum will turn Romney into a punching bag designed to show what it will look like if he got a shot at the real Obama in the ring. Santorum's ready for this. As quickly as Romney says "Earmarks", Santorum will be back with Romney=Obamacare, TARP, and Climate change. Drink on either occurrences. Santorum will also have to defend himself on the social questions bound to come tonight after some of his comments. He has to defend himself strongly, because if he doesn't, as strangely as it sounds, Newt Gingrich will do it for him.

Newt - Standard ideas, probably won't attack anyone with two exceptions. If he gets a question on his "viability" and current polls, Newt is going to launch into a tirade at the VA GOP and the ballot access issue there. Trust me, that's already been worked in there somewhere should the same situation arise. But the more likely "indignant" moment where Newt takes off at the media is likely not to come at a question directed at him, but at Rick Santorum. For example, if Santorum doesn't do a good or strong enough job defending himself on his comments and stances this week from the social issues (Satan, birth control, etc), Newt's going to go after the media for asking stupid questions with idiot premises to begin with. Trust me, that one is worked in there too should the situation arise. Finally, if neither of the two cases present themselves, Newt may suggest the participants as chicken for backing out of the debate on March 1. However, if he goes with that route, look for Romney, Santorum, or even Paul to bring up Ben Jones and 1994.

Paul - He's an idiot on foreign policy, and tonight we probably find out that he is wishy washy on social issues as well. Whenever he says something kooky, stupid, or downright dangerous, then take a drink. If you don't get alcohol poisoning, I commend you.

How about the “last debate” meme.....I was pretty sure there was one more between now and Super Tuesday. That was the impression when the debate in Georgia was cancelled - one of three remaining - meaning still two were left before Super Tuesday.

“The Santobots already began a thread to start a problem.”

So, are you a Nutubobot or a Pualbot?

Senator Santorum, do you stand by your contention in 2008 that the institutions of America are under attack by a super-natural being named Satan?

She is supposedly a Newtbot, but judging by her posting histroy, I sincerly doubt she is really a Newt supporter. Probably a masquerading Romulan.

I said nothing critical of Newt in my analysis listed above. Everybody knows he is prepping some kind of indigant moment to exploit in the debate should the opportunity come. There’s nothing wrong with that. That’s good debate strategy. And I think I laid out 3 possible circumstances where the situation might present itself.

And also, just to clarify, when I say “Standard ideas”, I don’t mean dull and boring, but the typical stuff people are used to hearing in a Newt speech or statement.

So I don’t know what her problem is, unless of course it was with calling Ron Paul a kook.

"Fixing it" is an irrelevant concept. The question is whether it can be improved vs the status quo. The answer is yes. However given that we have two conservatives splitting the vote and dems/independents/RINOs voting for Romney in the primaries it will be quite a challenge.

"Senator Santorum, do you stand by your contention in 2008 that the institutions of America are under attack by a super-natural being named Satan?"

Whoever should ask this question would be shown to be a babbling idiot with the response, "Americans who still believe us one nation under 'a super-natural being' named God, would have no problem with that contention. Why do you?"
