Absent, of course, from all of this Republican political bookmaking, is any reference to the plumb line of America’s founding principles.

They continue to build crooked houses on shifting sand.

You’re wrong. Legislation starts in congress, not the white house. If we control both houses, the liberal agenda comes to a screeching halt. No dream acts, no gun grabs, no tax increases, no EPA regulations, nothing. None of that crap will ever see a committee let alone Obama’s signature.

If Obama wins, regardless of who the Republicans run, the third party has to start forming immediately to take it all back. That is, if there is anything LEFT to take back!

True, unless: both houses are controlled by reach-across-the-aisle-I-wanna-look-good-on-Sunday-talk-shows RINOs. In that case, we're screwed.

My wife and I are so blessed to have 2 kids who are drug free and doing really well in studies. Thank you for your kind thoughts.

As for the Bank bailouts...95% of Americans do not understand the banking system. Yes, I am 100% against bailouts, especially of the type when auto companies were bailed out. It was a bailout of unions, and it was a kick in the rear for the bond holders in those outfits who lost it all. In the banking scenario, 2 or 3 big banks failing can initiate a chain reaction and cause 200 or 300 banks failing. Banking business is so intertwined. That is why they are trying to do everything possible to bailout Greece even though it is 100% certain Greece bankruptcy is inevitable. A Greek default will cause so many EU banks cascading down and it will even affect American banks.

The real solution lies in changing banking laws to prevent future problems. The banking crisis in 2009 was extremely dangerous for US banks. When you have an emergency situation on hand, you take whatever steps necessary. It is akin to you getting a call from the police that your kid has been arrested for drug possession. Regardless of your ideals, you go down and bail them out first. Then it is time to read them the riot act when they are home.

I sincerely hope this country will never be put in that situation again, such as the Troubled Assets Relief Program. But I will not hold my breath because life long politicians run the country.

Not gonna happen. No one prominent enough to make a difference (or even get on the ballot) will want the responsibility for letting Obama win with a plurality.

Protest voters will be left with the Libertarian and Constitution parties (probably Gary Johnson and Virgil Goode who have both held elective office) and Buddy Roemer if he gets on the ballot anywhere.

Hopefully Myth Romney will not be the nominee.
