>I use it as my opportunity to give them a lesson about marriage inequality in this state because I feel like I have to tell them why Im turning them away,
IOW, “it’s not about doing the law, but about what I *feel* about the law (and trying to make others feel that way too)”... *sigh*
#1) “It” should be fired for not performing the duties to which “it” swore to perform.
#2) “It” is doing us all a favor, because who wants some secular faggotty pervert performing the sacrament of marriage for them anyway?
Tke your opportunity and shove it up your butt There are plenty of ways to get married without going to this Bull Dyke.
In fact even if she would perform marriage ceremonies I would prefer someone else to this Homo fool.
Yes, that’s true. Such a small minority wielding such influence. I remember when homosexuality was nothing more than the topic of locker room jokes. Ah, the good old days.
Oh Shyt. I should have known are we sure her name is Tanya and not Tawanna?
Don’t you just love how liberals are so tolerant...
It is getting WAY out of control now a days. Yet they have had years to set this up without many paying attention. Sadly I was 1 of them.
Another angry black woman.
She’s got a chip on her shoulder, lacks judicial temperament. Remove her from the bench.
I think this is a good thing.
If you want to be married in the eyes of God, don’t be married by someone who averts their own eyes from God.
Yep, makes you wonder, how homosexuals have come to dominate our social/political debates and policies.
Homosexuals are somewhere from 2 to 5% of the population. Perhaps a bit higher, when you figure that they include bi-sexual and sexually confused in the “LGBT” community.
Even so, we have become beholden to a small minority which is sexually confused about our sexuality. Now we have to make laws and social policies which cater to a small minority which is outside of the mainstream behavior. Why have we gotten to such a point?

Judge Tonya Parker
In voice of Danny DeVito as The Lorax... “That’s a woman?”
Listen, lady. YOU work for US, not vice versa!
Obviously she needs to be fired/removed.
If a judge only enforces laws they like or don’t like, that means the law in that area of the country is what one person wants it to be. Regardless if citizens voted otherwise, regardless if the legislature votes otherwise.
That’s not what judges are supposed to do. They leave their personal beliefs out of it. It’s called being IMPARTIAL.
And if anyone says otherwise, that’s the statement Supreme Court justices always say. They don’t form prior opinions. They don’t let their own biases influence their decisions.
If anyone says that’s just for Supreme Court justices, ask them where the candidates for Supreme Court are groomed. LOWER COURTS. Where they are expected to act the same way.
When I think of that student who has had to file a lawsuit because she is being prohibited from getting her Master’s Degree in counseling because she has admitted that her Christian faith would not allow her to endorse homosexuality (and this is no different from other conflicts of interest where counselors refer people to other counselors...e.g., a male counselor who might not be the best individual to counsel a female rape victim), and then I read this stuff, it makes my blood boil.
Talk about shifting sand.
Keep in mind their final “prize”, or that of the driving force behind them -
they seek to criminalize Christianity.
They couldn't do it since 3 people can't be married to each other. Mittens would have to be in there somehow! ; -)

Isn’t she sworn to uphold the law? This judge is obviously biased and doesn’t that make one wonder about the rest of her ‘judgements’?
It’s not - she makes extra money on the side for performing marriage ceremonies. County Judges, JPs and Municipal Court Judges do most of the civil ceremonies in Texas.
