Heh, so there IS no such suburb?

Reminds me of the joke in “Tootsie” by a cameraman, referring to Dustin Hoffman in response to a soap opera director: “I’d like to make her look a little more attractive. How far can you pull back [the camera]?”

“How do you feel about Cleveland?”

It seems that most of the really boneheaded ideas that became national policy originated in California. If it was enacted there, sooner or later the rest of us would have to be fighting to keep those policies from being implemented in our areas, or at the federal level.

I don't hate California, but I wish Californians would keep their policies in California.

Get it out there as much as you can, but remember to label it California, I forgot to do that.

Chances are the incresingly dominant Catholic (democrat) vote in California is Hispanic. I think there is more at play there than religion. (amnesty, sanctuary cities, freebies, La Raza, etc.)

See posts 31 and 43, I don’t think that boomers are the problem in California.

I think the 1965 Immigration Act is, it passed when boomer Sarah Palin was 1 year old.

Except that the Catholic vote has always been Democrat in our history, with them only voting for the Republican President 5 times.

One of those times was to reelect Bush in 2004 after voting against him in 2000, the national Catholic vote went 52% for Bush, while the Hispanic Protestant vote went 56% for Bush.

The Catholic voter came to dominate California and turned it into a Democrat stronghold,In 2005 there were 11.1 million Catholics living in California.

In 2005 there were about 11 million Hispanics living in California.

You show about a 2/3 Dem to 1/3 Republican votes in your chart. I would bet good money that the vast majority of those Dem voters are Hispanics.

And never forget that El Presidente Jorge Bush was the one who flooded California with these Democrat voters from 2000 to 2008.

As if I need another reason to abandon the idiocy of the GOP. I detest the GOP for its cowardice and selling us out almost as much as I hate the Democrats for their evil and treason.

See post 110. George Bush did not create the California Hispanic population, I would like to see your numbers for 1970 to 2008.

I lived in the SF bay area for 12 years for work I liked. I lived in the SF city limits for 7 years. By year 8, the experience of living in the bay area actually had me in a mild depression which persisted until I made the decision to forgo the work I liked and leave.

I’ll add to you list.

Market is awash with vomit and piss.

You can’t use the parks you paid for because they have all been taken over by whacked out homeless pukes.

There is a puke panhandler at every off-ramp from the elevated freeways, and tons more puke panhandlers all over downtown.

Once a week, the Critical Mass bicycle Nazis tie up traffic all over downtown San Francisco.

You can’t go a week without seeing a fag’s hairy ass in chaps and likely kissing another like fag.

Pedestrians don’t obey any of the traffic laws.

People turn right from the left lane, stop dead in the middle of streets, and will park anywhere they feel like it.

If you work, you can’t use the beach or Golden Gate on the weekends unless you like slam-dancing in body-to-body crowds.

You can’t park on your own street outside your house without getting a parking ticket.

At least once a month someone parking on the street blocks your driveway.

My commute of 19 miles across the bay bridge usually took 90 minutes, and I was in the NON PEAK commute direction going into the city after work.

One car with flat or out of gas could cause a traffic delay of up to 2 hours on the bay bridge.

Going anywhere is a supreme hassle and parking is worse.

There is nowhere you can work in San Francisco and most of the bay area where you can park for free rather than have to pay monthly parking.

Many many of the people are rude, selfish, opportunistic, vile, crass, arrogant, elitist, conceited and sure they are right about everything and know it all about everything.

Nobody is friendly unless they are drunk.

I could write a book.

You are darn tooting I hate California and I cannot wait to retire and move to Virginia.

Perhaps because its obvious to anybody with a lick of common sense that California is well on its way to becoming the first State version of Detroit?

I live in California and I hate the place, but yes, I would agree there are a lot of great things about California.

To me, that is a lot like saying, there are a lot of great things to like about my nymphomaniac supermodel wife, if only she was a bi-polar meth addict with AIDS.

See that is the rub with California. Oh yeah, it has a lot of great things like climate and scenery and attractions, and even jobs and good pay. It’s just that the escalating tyranny and the oppressive burden they claim on the sweat of your back sort of puts a damper on the rest of it.

Putting a concentration camp on the beach in Hawaii doesn’t change the fact it is a concentration camp.

An oppressive socialist utopian hellhole that taxes your labor into oblivion and crushes you with regulatory restrictions and burdens doesn’t suddenly become freedom just because of good weather and beaches.

Good luck to all of you who love it here and are staying. I hope you are happy. For me, I can’t get out if this oppressive communist hellhole soon enough. I want out of the concentration camp, even if the downside is a bit of overcast and rain.

I did not say Baby Bush created the entire problem, but it is an indisputable fact that he flood California with Hispanic immigrants legal and illegal, from 2000 to 2008. That is a documented fact.

What kind of idiot Republican floods a pivotal state that has over a hundred electoral votes with Democrat voters for 8 years.

I mean, at least I understand why rapist in chief Clinton flooded California with Hispanic Democrat voters from 1992 to 2000. It was in his interest to bury California with new Democratic Party voters.

Baby Bush had no such benefit to gain from burying California in Democrat voters.

I won’t bother to look up the stats and feel free to dispute them, but Baby Bush certainly let in a lot more Hispanic Dem voters from 2000 to 2008 then came in from 1970 to 1978. Immigration has been accelerating and Baby Bush let in more than Clinton even did, despite knowing he was just building up the Democratic Party voter base.

Baby Bush sold us out so his rich buddies could get richer for 8 years. He completely sold us out. Baby Bush is laughing all the way to the bank.

I want to see that documentation, I’m not convinced that President Bush did that.

It isn’t just because you talk like this “Baby Bush”, “rapist in chief Clinton” .

If you can’t show the evidence then admit it.

People don’t hate California. They hate liberalism. It’s kind of hard to separate the two.
