General(Government) Motors and that Italian company Chrysler are walking dead corporations, they just dont know it yet. Give them a couple of years. One of the main purposes of a bankruptcy proceeding is to allow a company to shed the chains that have dragged it into this state. Thus, it emerges from the proceeding in a stronger condition -- with a chance to succeed.
The problem with these bankruptcy proceedings is that the heaviest chains -- the union contracts and pensions -- remain in place. Everybody else took it in the shorts -- the bondholders, the white-collar employees and many of the dealers.
But what caused the company to fail in the first place remains an integral part of the business.
It's only a matter of time...

We’ve come to expect such gems of wisdom from Slow Joe. It’s a shame that he doesn’t even have a clue that most people consider him the “king’s fool”.

"Osama Bin Laden is dead, and General Motors is alive, he told the crowd which cheered in response." -- Joe Biden, Vice President of the United States of America
Joe Biden: Probably the most shallow and ignorant person ever to hold the office of Vice President in modern American history.

In spite of all the prior years search, it still
took about three more years to finally catch up to
OBL. My guess is the process was accelerated by some
undisclosed incident. Perhaps OBL insulted BHO
by calling him an “American.”
To: kristinn
Does this mean that Joe Biden thinks we should have thrown taxpayer funds at Bin Laden, rather than bullets?
