Thank you. You know... it’s probably just me, but it seems like the blood on the white sheet is... more than it was before. I can’t help but wonder why no ambulance is there making absolutely sure the guy is dead, you know? Is that paranoid?

LAFD paramedics *did* come to scene and examined the perp and prounounced him dead...

One poor guy is there minding his own business getting a tank of gas and this perp pulls up along side of him. Now he is in the middle of a shoot out and a crime scene. I wonder when he will be allowed to leave or finish filling his tank?

Caught once in a similar circumstance in Tempe, AZ, I ducked behind the pump, frog-marched my way around the car to the driver's side, opened the door, crawled in, stayed low...and got the hell out of there.
