Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush (R) said Thursday that he found it “troubling” that the 2012 presidential candidates are “appealing to people’s fears and emotion” on the campaign trail, according to reports.Bush expressed concern about the type of rhetoric that the candidates were using, without getting specific or naming names.
“I used to be a conservative and I watch these debates and I’m wondering, I don’t think I’ve changed, but it’s a little troubling sometimes when people are appealing to people’s fears and emotion rather than trying to get them to look over the horizon for a broader perspective and that’s kind of where we are,” said Bush, according to Fox News.
“I think it changes when we get to the general election. I hope,” he added, reported wire service UPI.

I don’t ever remember ever being troubled about anything ever in my entire life. Never. Not once. I’ve been scared shipless and made wisecracks to try to feign bravery. I’ve been stressed beyond a tolerable level on many occassions while managing my finances. I’ve been angered more times than I can count. I’ve been shocked, upset, disappointed, so many emotions. But I don’t ever recall being troubled.
The GOP brings us every democrat president, because the only people the GOP can defeat is the GOP.
And this is the guy whose name people keep floating for a “brokered convention” (which isn’t going to happen anywise)?

While campaigning in Maryland in May of '72 (with a huge lead in the opinion polls) -- "the lone gunman" surfaced--and shot him five times.
He won the Maryland and Michigan primaries--though the assassination attempt ended his candidacy.

-- I was glad to hear of his repentance, profession of faith -- and making restitution later in his (paralyzed) life.
However--
