BILOXI -- GOP candidate and former House Speaker Newt Gingrich has changed his plans for a one-day trip to Mississippi and now plans two trips, one on March 8 and one on March 12 before the states March 13 primary.
The March 12 trip will include at least one, perhaps multiple, stops on the Coast, said Scott Brewster, Gingrichs grassroots coordinator for Mississippi. The first trip will likely include stops in Tupelo, Southaven and Jackson. He said more details should be available early next week.
On Thursday, the campaign had announced a one-day trip to Mississippi on March 8, starting in Tupelo and ending in Harrison County.
Brewster said one reason for the change is so Gingrich can spend more time campaigning on the Coast and in South Mississippi.

Newt is great but ain't got a chance—time for conservatives to choose between Rick or Obama.

IMO, Newt has a good chance of winning this since over 40 primary and caucus remain including the big state of Texas.

Suure Scooter. It’s a long primary season. The question is can Santo stand up to the criticism that he is receiving, which has only been for a couple of weeks. And which has been really ramped up over the last 4 days. He’s not getting the pass like he got before.

I know that, but my state has the very good chance of voting for Newt. I just screwed up and pinged the whole list to the flag! LOL. I asked to have it deleted.

I'm for Rick but a Newt run against Obama would be a helluva lotta fun for sure—wouldn't break my heart if ol’ Gingrich pulled it off.

Like Rush Limbaugh said, Rick's biggest weakness is his honest responses to gotcha questions.
It ain't playing well with the Leftist MSM and the elite GOP establishment but it ain't hurting his numbers with the regular folk.
He is a consistent conservative who has said he has regrets being a team player under Bush43—and that one has to compromise a bit until one can be a leader with the power to do what one thinks is right.
He won't be a follower as president.
