Exclusive: State Department quietly warning region on Syrian WMDs

The State Department has begun coordinating with Syria's neighbors to prepare for the handling of President Bashar al-Assad's extensive WMD assets if and when his regime collapses, The Cable has learned.

This week, the State Department sent a diplomatic demarche to Syria's neighbors Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, and Saudi Arabia, warning them about the possibility of Syria's WMDs crossing their borders and offering U.S. government help in dealing with the problem, three Obama administration officials confirmed to The Cable. For concerned parties both inside and outside the U.S. government, the demarche signifies that the United States is increasingly developing plans to deal with the dangers of a post-Assad Syria -- while simultaneously highlighting the lack of planning for how to directly bring about Assad's downfall.

Hussein’s kitchen staff was also Christian to protect him from subversives who would try to poison him.

Well, that’s interesting. Christian Iraqis, you think?

DG: Congressmen Curt Weldon and Pete Hoekstra know about the sites but will not speak about it because I stopped them from conducting the WMD searches for their own goals.

They made Weldon the fall guy for Able Danger and Hoekstra was one of two in congress W notified about 9/6/2007.

Bush is the one who said there were no WDM in Iraq. He is the one who enhanced and affirmed the Left’s “liar” chant.

We saw what was said to be convoys of trucks going into Syria from Iraq leading up to the war and we were urged to assume Iraq were moving WDM over there. Russian military was involved, if the reports were true.

I imagine Syria has it’s own supply of WMD and maybe added Iraq’s. We don’t know. Bush was a pitiful communicator. Which is why we should not listen to Jeb as he tells everyone to shut up.

Yeah, I remember.

I’ll never understand why he did that though.

..................Remember the first criticism of Bush was that he let Sadam move his weapons into Syria.................

Remember the night photo’s that Coleen Powell presented to the UN that showed convoys of trucks heading east into Syria.

The UN forgot, and he forgot, and then allowed Bush to hang tough all by himself, when no WMD’s were found in Iraq after six months of dicking around about Iraq before taking them out!

It was a dream we all had.

And I guess we’re going to have a sequel.
