I can’t make it out...does grandpa have a long beard or what is going on with his neck?

I can't tell either, but it sure looks like he OD'd on coumadin and then tied his front teeth to the trailer hitch and letterrip.

We learned from Breaking Bad that the proper place to cook is in an RV

They’ll catch you at home every time

Watched the movie a few months ago.

Powerful, disturbing and depressing. But the meth didn’t do that, these folks were making moonshine or growing pot before they discovered the profits of meth. Poverty, in-breeding and tribalism are the root causes. It sort of reminded me of stories out of Afghanistan.

“What could possibly compel people to use meth?”

Simple. “Hard drugs” initially feel physically better than anything else. Imagine smoking a pipe and instantly feeling 10-100 times happier than you ever felt in your life. Nomatter how much filth, pain and suffering surrounds you. Doing one of these drugs even once will change your entire perception of happiness.

It is a full escape from mental illness/trauma, spiritual void, loneliness and/or poverty. The problem is that the brain readjusts itself and life without the drug feels even worse than before. That is the cause of addiction.

There’s another story on that same site about a gator biting a cop car. LOL

I know meth isn’t the same as cocaine but isn’t it the same type thing? Smoking speed/upper?

Meth is smoked, injected, orally ingested or snorted.

A large percent passes through the body (about 70% if I recall correctly). Meth dealers will host parties where users pay a flat fee. They have a large bucket in the bathroom for the party goers to "fill" during the course of the festivities. The urine is cooked down for the drug which is resold.

You have GOT to be kidding me! Dear God why do people do such a thing. So darn sad!

I can’t believe a mother would have her son involved in such destruction. That boy never had a chance.

Those boys are only a few years younger than my son...tears me up.

I've heard that we have a "God shaped hole" in our souls. We try to fill it with everything from sex, drugs, achievements, etc...

Nothing fills the hole except God.

I also heard an interview with Ozzy Osborne, when he spoke about his life as an addict, that he used drugs because he didn't like who he was. He explained that substances (drugs, alcohol) changed who he was. He said if you're happy with who you are, why would you waste money on "crap" you put in your vein or up your nose?

Meth does permanently alter the brain. The brain chemistry is all out of whack. It's really scary and sad.

I know meth and crack can cause paranoia and the sensation that you have bugs crawling on your skin.

People will pick at their skin.

sounds great!

Crack is much more addictive (and powerful) than regular cocaine.
