Two Americans who were shot dead Saturday inside the Interior Ministry in Afghanistan's capital Kabul are believed to be a colonel and a major in the U.S. military, Afghan security sources told Reuters.
A spokeswoman for NATO's International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) confirmed two of their servicemen had been shot dead in central Kabul by an individual who turned his weapon on them. She declined to say if the killer was a member of the Afghan military or police.

When you tell the enemy when you are leaving and then apologize to them, they are greatly emboldened. I say get the hell out of there ASAP and let the savages kill each other.
I though Barky Boy was having secret talks with the Talibums. I guess his negotiations are not going too well either. Given their propensity to shoot anyone they don’t agree with, I think Barky Boy should be heading up the US negotiation team, personally.
God help us. Can anyone imagine any of the presidents before Carter even considering such a stupid notion of appologizing for the actions, no matter how inadvertant, of any of our troops? I cannot. It’s official: “Act of Valor” is anti-Semitic tripe wrapped in the American flag with a Navy SEAL cherry on top. The movie, which debuts in theaters today, goes to great pains to tell you that the largest terrorist plot against America is perpetrated by a Jew.
Then we will apologize more and more. And then the radicals will be offended more and more. And then the whole world will sink back into medieval times.

According to CNN, the Taliban has claimed responsibility. I don’t know if I care any more what contingent of goat herders did it.
Their blood is on this administrations hands. If this administration didn’t fall all over themselves trying to apologize for burning the Koran (as it turns out, burning IS one of the ways Muslims retire old Korans) and instead stated that it is a respectful way of treating an old or misused Koran, our soldiers would still be alive. These idiots keep admitting to wrong doing where there is NO wrong doing and insighting violence. They put our boys at risk for no reason other than stupidity.
It’d be a shame to sacrifice a dog’s life over there now. But Zero is sacrificing our top ranking military men, then groveling on his knees before the muslim filth, asking for forgiveness. FUO.
A low ranking haji can always pull out his gun and start shooting on his own, at any time, without having been explicitly ordered to by higher-ups. But I wouldn’t count on that being the case here, or any time we lose top people. It always looks suspicious.
Any man from full-bird colonel up should do all he can to conceal his whereabouts and travel plans from the treasonous SOBs in the WH (and comrades).
