Algae, European Gas Prices, and Born in the U.S.A (Must Read)
NRO ^ | 02/25/2012 | Victor Davis Hanson

Posted on 02/25/2012 7:12:45 PM PST by nhwingut

As gas nears $5-a-gallon out west, the president, who has cancelled a key pipeline and frozen federal leases from Alaska to the East Coast, teaches us about American algae potential, in the way he used to emphasize the importance of tire pressure and “tune-ups.” He castigates the opposition for making political hay out of bad news, in the way he routinely did as a senator in compiling the most partisan voting record in the Senate. Energy Secretary Chu cannot and will not say a word about soaring gas prices, since he is on record not so long ago hoping that they might double — that is, get to $8- to 10-a-gallon as they are in Europe.

... with State Department subordinates warning about Syrian “WMD.” If true, one wonders where Assad got them...hmmm - might they have been in those caravans of trucks seen heading for Syria just before we began the Shock and Awe in Iraq????....

How much longer will Americans tolerate being lied to, subjugated like peasants in a conquered country and refused their own Constitution?

Amazing levels of patience being shown. But that patience can’t last forever.

Every time Hussein opens his clap, I say to myself "He cannot go lower than he has lat time", but he ... can!

The White House resident is now ready to fill the $300,000 gas-guzzling "Beast" tank with pond dirt!

“Take your message of equality of achievement, take your message of economic dependency, take your message of enslaving the entrepreneur will and spirit of the American people, somewhere else. You can take it to Europe, you can take it to the bottom of sea, you can take it to the North Pole, but get IT the hell out of the United States of America.” - Allen West

"Parts of Florida have $5 too..."

Only a very few near rental car return areas near the Orlando Airport.
They don't post signs with the price and tourist stop to fill up before returning their rental car to avoid being charged a fill-up fee.
A few others out near Disney catching tourist.
The county passed a law requiring them to post the price on a sign outside easy to read. Some have not complied yet taking them to court. ALL Locals know about it and don't go anywhere near them.
So saying Florida has $5.00 gas is misleading. . . . It's just a few crooks charging that price.

The question never asked and certainly never answered is “how much money was saved by say the Department of the interior or perhaps the Department of Agriculture, by pumping up the tires on the department’s vehicle fleet?”

You people should stop picking on our great President Obama concerning this terrible gas price mess of 2012.

In case you didn't hear about President Obama's great speech the other day on energy solutions, Obama courageously told us that converting ALGAE into gasoline is the answer to our prayers concerning these high gas price woes.

So instead of wasting your time picking on our humble and visionary President Obama---who I now call our ALGAE PRESIDENT---you should be out there rushing to start ALGAE farms in your nearby lakes and rivers so that we can get this gas price mess under control.
