No kidding. I wonder how .308 resistant drones are.

Since 2005, but due to FAA restrictions they are locked in very specific tracks along the border.

The aerospace industry forecasts a worldwide deployment of almost 30,000 drones by 2018, with the United States accounting for half of them. U.S. half of them, wow. The only pressure is from the ones who want to control the public.

Draw the line in the sand. Say no to this! Real Science (a coldist site) had a post with a Terminator graphic, this was my comment:

lol with The Terminator robot graphic, as they are talking about employing flying pilotless drones in border patrol. Aviation assets… Who could argue with that? Of course, soon police forces everywhere, to save $, will scrap their own helicopters etc and turn to drones. Cheap as they are, they’ll be buzzing all over the place, above us.

Also, with the growing sophistication and low cost of mobile ground robots like the Gen. Dynamics ‘Big Dog,’ police forces may opt for extensive use of these automatons. Real life Robo-cops. Next thing you know… it’s The Terminator for real! Call the governor! Oh right, it’s the -ex- governor.

They are ‘searching us from above’.

From browsing a nasa report on civilian uaw’s from 2004, the operational altitude for one of these drones is between 18000 to 40000 feet.

I cannot see something that small at that distance and have never fired a weapon that could reach out and hit it either.

Well, they need the drones to keep track of what you’re doing OUTSIDE -

they’ve already got all their ducks in a row to keep track of your every move, every word, every appointment, every communication, INSIDE

The militarization of our law enforcement agencies needs to end NOW! That includes everything from military weapons down too wearing cammo. Every time the military develops something the now militarized law enforcement agencies think they are now automatically entitled too have the same. No law enforcement agency has any legitimate within the Constitution need for a Drone. If we put our troops too defend our border then BP would not need Drones either.

No law enforcement agency should even be allowed to be armed beyond that of any other law abiding citizen. The only exception I can see too this is the BP.
