ELECTION 2012 = NATIONAL SECURITY - SUPREME COURT - 2ND AMENDMENT By Beverly Perlson
Beverly Perlson of The Band Of Mothers ^ | February 26, 2012 | SeekTheTruth

I believe this next election is all about the preservation of the 2nd Amendment, a Conservative Supreme Court that will protect that precious amendment and our National Security!

This is a brilliant speech by former Speaker Newt Gingrich and is worth everyone’s time to listen to it. If nothing else, Americans should know the great sacrifice that was made by General Washington and 2500 freezing and starving Patriots who suffered immensely and fought bravely to ensure our freedom and our right to defend ourselves:

Further, I applaud Newt Gingrich for speaking out, before any other candidate, regarding the murder of our Soldiers in Afghanistan. This is not a weak man waiting to get a feel for what to say. Newt came out boldly in support of our Soldiers and against this traitor in the White House and his apologists administration. That's called leadership!

From Newt Gingrich:
“And furthermore, I am really deeply offended, I think, on behalf of the families and on behalf of the American people that Americans get killed by an Afghan soldier, we — President Obama doesn't seem to hold Karzai responsible for that. There doesn't seem to be any request for an apology from Karzai.”

Those of you who know me and visit my website, The Band Of Mothers, know that my biggest concern is national security. I am sick and tired of fighting terrorists under a policy of appeasement! I look at the candidates running from the perspective of the terrorists, and I ask myself which of these 4 men worries the butchers the most, and the answer every time is Newt Gingirich.

I believe in peace through strength! I will support whoever the candidate is because anyone is better than this spineless Muslim appeaser occupying our White House now, but I'm tired of weakness and I hope Newt Gingrich is the candidate facing Obama in November!

Good one from Newt. None of the the other candidates could have made that speech.

“Groveling”, the Commander-in-Chief is groveling!!!!!!! Just imagine how our troops over there are feeling as those grenades are lobbed at them and their Brothers!!!!!!!! And their Campaigner-in-Chief requests no apology for their Brothers who were murdered!!! Just more apologies!!!.
Islam, religion of peace, I see no evidence of that whatsoever!

Washington Post columnist Charles Krauthammer was blunt in his opinion of U.S. Defense and White House officials emphatically apologizing to Muslims for the burning of Korans that took place on a NATO base early this week.
“That was embarrassing what we saw. We have gone from apology here to abject self-debasement and groveling, and groveling to whom? To the mob,” Krauthammer said in reaction to remarks made by acting Assistant Defense Secretary Peter Lavoy Friday. ”We should have had a single apology coming from the commander on the ground and that’s it. Not from the Secretary of Defense, not from the President of all people”
Thousands of angry Afghans have been protesting since Tuesday when word spread that the Islamic holy book and other religious materials were inadvertently burned by U.S. forces at a NATO military base in Afghanistan. Since the anti-U.S. demonstrations began Tuesday, hundreds have been wounded and at least 28 people have been killed, including two Americans.
Krauthammer cited the hypocrisy in the immediate apology to Muslims all over the world for the accidental yet inappropriate disposal of Korans, compared to the unequal reaction from Muslim leaders to atrocities committed against Christians in the name of radical Islam:
“This is a world in which nobody asked the Islamic Conference, a grouping of the 56 Islamic countries, to issue an apology when Christians are attacked and churches are burned in Egypt or in Pakistan. And had we heard a word from any Islamic leader anywhere about the radical Muslims in Nigeria who are not only burning the churches, but burning women and children who are in the churches, when I hear that, I’ll expect my president to start issuing apologies.”

Your welcome!

We need a Commander In Chief who will stand strong in support of our Military. I believe Newt would be such a Commander In Chief.

Please read Scott Swett’s article above! This passage should frighten everyone:

Endless appeasement

“In 2010, the Obama Administration had all references to Islam and jihad removed from the National Security Strategy Document, the central document that outlines U.S. security strategy. In late 2011, the Administration removed all references to Islam from the training programs used by Federal law enforcement and national security professionals. That decision came after Muslim Public Affairs Council president Salam al-Marayati published a not-overly-subtle threat that keeping the training policies would “undermine the relationship between law enforcement and the Muslim American community.” Al-Marayati also demanded that the FBI and Justice Department apologize to Muslims.
This Administration is taking direction on national security from Islamic groups that are surrogates for the Muslim Brotherhood, which is waging civilization jihad on American institutions, traditions and freedoms. Rather than disbanding the groups for supporting terrorism, the government has made them partners in its endless appeasement of Islam."

When will the American people realize that we are in trouble and that Obama and his administration's policy of appeasing radical Islamists is the greatest threat we face! Please forward this article all over and seriously consider that maybe it is time we all paid more attention to what is really going on here...STOP for one day and instead of focusing on the economy focus on the safety of your family and this country and our Soldiers. Please Make calls to your Congressmen/Senators over the betrayal of our brave men and women in uniform and the betrayal of this President and his administration of your families safety!

If Newt is so smart, why does he do such dumb things over and over? He is unelectable with all of his shenanigans.

I missed seeing Newt do any dumb things over and over. Please share what you mean.

I admire Newt's knowledge of history and our Constitution, but his coming out immediately in full support of our Military has put him at the top of my favorite candidate list!

Right when the news came out about the Koran burning incident and Obama’s apology, Newt made his statement trashing Obama over him not demanding an apology for the killing of our US soldiers. It took the other candidates five days to even mention it!

I could vote for Newt if he would stay on one philosophy, but he is all over the place every other week.

Posted on Col West’s Facebook page:

I want to extend my sincere condolences to the families of the Army Colonel and Major who were killed by Afghanistan security forces over this “burning Koran” episode.

If we had resolute leadership in the White House, we would have explained that these Islamic terrorist enemy combatants detained at the Parwan facility used the Koran to write jihadist messages to pass to others.

In doing so, they violated their own cultural practice and defiled the Koran and turned the Koran into contraband.

The Islamic cultural practice and Parwan detention facility procedures support burning the “contraband.”

Instead here we go again, offering apology after apology and promising to “hold those responsible accountable.” Responsible for what?

When tolerance becomes a one-way street it leads to cultural suicide.

This time it immediately led to the deaths of two American Warriors.

America is awaiting the apology from President Hamid Karzai.

I am for whomever wins the Republican nomination, and will support that person with great vigor!

I just hope that person is Newt.

You are removed from my ping list. Thanks for letting me know.
