How does a country of many millions end up with a choice of Obama or McCain ? It has been happening for many years, but I’m not giving up. The Bushes proclaimed there would be a new world order. You don’t make such a grandiose statement, if you can’t pull it off. You can’t pull it off if you can’t control who becomes president. Smile it’s all good

The curious part is only those keeping up would know this. Romney and Santorum are all over the news in TN and Gingrich isn’t even polling. Sheesh!

I bet this elitist GOP senator is not up for re-election in 2012, who ever it is.

And If the elitist ram Jeb Bush down our throats, the GOP will take a beating in 2012 of historic proportions.

“There’s a whole list of names...that might qualify. “

You can put that chinless bassturd Mitch McConnell at the top of the list.

” - - - the Party will not stand for a Mitt Romney loss in Michigan - - - .”

This sounds like “The Party” is going to un-endorse Romney if he loses in Michigan. What an embarrassment for all those GOP Politicians!

This also sounds like “The Party” doesn’t want to have anything to do with the other 3 candidates.

With over 60 % of Primary voters choosing someone other than the one that “The Party” wants to win, “The Party” is on a different track than the one that 60 % of the Primary voters are on.

Some of my questions to “The Party” are as follows:

“What would change if Romney beat Obama?

Would year-to-year Federal baseline spending go down?

Would non-Military Federal employment decrease?

Would ALL of Obama”care” be repealed and abolished?

Would Dodd-Frank be repealed and abolished?

Would the sorry US House and sorrier US Senate continue to sell America down the River, by continuing their damned Bipartisan Cave-Ins?”

The GOP is running scared because they endorsed a Candidate that the Financially Responsible voters “cannot stand.”

This National Election Primary is your last Hurrah, GOP, so enjoy it all the way to Tampa. After Tampa, WE will take you over.

BTW GOP, bring your own TEA cups.

An anonymous “top republican senator” - if I was ever the editor of a major news organization I thinkI would put a large banner outside my office; it would read “No anonymous sources”.

Newt can't win. I was at a large dinner party the other night at the home of a large fundraiser for republicans in our state. the conversation was mostly about state races but of course the presidential primary came up and to a man not one thought Newt could win it much less beat Obama if he did. Their reasoning was the female vote. I believe they are right. Why doesn't Newt have any congressional support so to speak of. Why doesn't DeMint a true conservative come out and support him given whats left of the field? Outside of a few southern states and Free Republic I don't see a lot of support for your guy.

Beating Romney in the primary will be a major victory, regardless of the final outcome the general.

If so we are FUBAR'd and it is time for more food and fill in the blanks...

It is a shame women can't get around his relationship issues. People have posted here, he didn't choose well. His 1st Marriage, he married his high school teacher. If she did that today, she'd be in Jail. Which raises a bigger question, where were his parents to give him guidance? 2nd marriage, folks have noted she may have had mental health issues and well as issues with money. For better or worse it took him 3 times to get it right with Kalista.

This is the real world, $h!t happens and the fact that GOP women can't figure it out doesn't bode well for us.

I would side with them, I want to know when and where was his tipping point to change his behavior.

I am convinced Santuckabee doesn't have the Chops for the Job and as a former Mass. resident I revile Romney, I know what he did.

I would rather loose with valor pulling the lever for Newt than committing political suicide with either Santorum or Romney.

At least give me a 64' scenario where I can pull the lever for the guy closest to a Goldwater.

The E-GOP has screwed their own pooch here, I and many others will write someone in, if they get their way....
