Three polls posted on Breaking News:
ARG: Santorum 36 / Romney 35
MIRS: Santorum 37 / Romney 35
Rasmussen: Romney 38 / Santorum 36
The take-away here: No matter who does the poll, the results are within the margin of error. It’s REALLY close
and we all know what happens when “mistakes” are made in close elections. The “errors” ALWAYS favor the left most candidate.
To borrow a metaphor, any votes found in the back seat of someones car will be for Romney. Count on it.
These numbers are amazing. If you listen to Rick bashers, he should be a 2% with women, yet he is not that far behind Milt. Rick also is doing something that is necessary for the GOP to pick up swing states. He is connecting with disaffected Rats and old Reagan Rats. He is also blowing the doors off of Milt with Tea Party voters, but is not doing bad with people who do not affiliate themselves with the movement. There are a lot of positive things in here to give one hope that Rick could actually pull off a huge upset in MI.
Sadly, all of this seems like trying to choose between heart disease and cancer.
I’m assuming this does not include the KosKids planning on crossing over and voting for Santorum. Excellent news indeed.
Gingrich only 3%??? Something isn't right here.
Romney: AARRRGGGGGGGG!!
LOL...sucks to be you eh? Having to choose between 2 Catholics and a Mormon and then between one of them and a muslim! I wonder who it is that you hate more.
We Gingrich supporters realize that in MI he has no chance and beating Mitt is the most important issue.
Pray for America
>try to keep up...Newt has announced he's not going to compete in MI.
“Santorum leads with 42% among likely Republican primary voters saying they are supporters of the Tea Party, followed by Romney with 27%, Gingrich with 13%”
The ball is in the Newtonians’ court.
What will it be?
Willard Flopney, the Massachusetts liberal
or
Rick Santorum, the Tea Party favorite in Michigan.
I’m keeping up just fine. If I were in MI I would vote for my candidate, since delegates are apportioned. If Newt can pick up a few delegates, what’s the problem with that? I still say that any poll which has Santorum leading Newt among Democrats and independents 34% to 3% is a bogus poll.
Republicans should at least make this race interesting. What’s another state under Santorum’s belt?
For those of us who are realistic and think ahead of most everything, experience and history prove, that this is bound to be a disaster.
Time will tell, and I refuse to play a part in it. There is far more to life than santorum mania 24/7.
The number one priority at this point is to stop Romney.
The only way to do that is to vote Santorum in Michigan.
Sorry...that 'try to keep up' crack was uncalled for. But, much to his credit, Newt realizes that if he doesn't compete his suport will likely go to Santorum and hurt Romney. I think Newt wants to win, but wants to see Romney lose even more.
Catholic or Mormon doesn’t matter at all, contrary to popular belief I don’t hate any of them. It’s about who is the best candidate.
If Mitt loses his home state of MI, then he should end his campaign since he will not win in NE Santorum states or Southern Newt states. He will be done.
Pray for America
