What a liar! I distinctly remember Obama campaigning in 2008 on the premise that Bush had gotten us into the wrong war in Iraq, and saying that he would go after the threat at the source in Afghanistan.

Meh....that would have been beneath the office of President. Of course, those days of decorum are long gone (in a little over 3 years).

It has been 3.1 years since Barack Obama took the oath of office as president of the United States and Commander in Chief of our military. The entirety of U.S. involvement in World War II lasted only six or seven months longer than 3.1 years.
Mr. Obama and his 'team' have had plenty of time to revise the nation's approach to the war in Afghanistan to 'fix' the 'mistakes' made by George W. Bush, and to reap the benefits of and/or suffer the negative consequences of these revisions.
It is absolutely disgraceful, but most definitely NOT unexpected, that he and his minions continue to blame his predecessor for the failures of his own administration.

“I try to remember they are the minority view in this fine great country they are trying to destroy daily.”
You are sooooo correct, and I find it amazing the minority Leftist, commonsense impaired idiots in this country are factually indisputably in control.
NO DEM, LIB, SOCIALIST should ever be allowed near the halls of government. They muck up everything.

He’s gonna really hurt himself with this one because it was one of the only real policy statements he made and if you only have one policy, even I can remember he said it! LOL

Obama voters are the enemy of this Republic. The enablers are without excuse.
The anti-war hypocrites are even worse because they deceive their own selves by voting for Obastard; the war monger with a Nobel Peace Prize for the explicit reason of wishing for peace but acting contrary to his own words.

If God forbid BHO gets elected to a 2nd term, he will still be blaming Bush in his 8th year as POTUS. Ugh, I just made myself nauseous... “8th year”. No way will this country survive.
Reporter: “President Obama, you are now in your 8th year as POTUS and unemployment is now at 44%. Why is that?”
Obama: “Bushs fault”

They're not running from that fact. Instead, they're referring to it as though that campaign promise were made about two weeks ago.
The article even brings up the B.S. rhetoric of '08 - Obama's "clear-eyed" policy replacing Bush's big pile of mistakes. Clear-eyed? Sounds comatose or dead, doesn't it?

Not only is Obama’s excuse pathetic, it’s also so long-winded and convoluted it gives the impression that Obama’s entire communications staff worked on it for the whole weekend.
If he wants to be taken more seriously, next time the Afghanistan war comes up Mr. Carney should just say that Obama’s dog ate his Afghanistan briefing papers.

I once saw an Obama blame-game flow chart. No matter the screw up, they all lead to “Bush’s fault.”
