Everything can and will be used against you - if you're a republican.

The POS temporarily occupying the white house is NEVER held accountable for what he says.

Noonan is wrong - this isn't about Rick Santorum. It IS about the media/democrat cabal and their attempts to rig the game and establish a ONE PARTY STATE.

RE: GO NEWT GINGRICH.

If everything Santorum said can and will be used against him, isn’t this similarly true of Newt?

Exactly!

Only if you are a normal red-blooded American who espouses common sense will your words be taken out of context and used against you.

If you are against the values that our country is founded upon and common sense in general, then you get a pass regardless of how ridiculous your words are in context or out of context.

Newt says the same stuff, but better, since at least the 80s.

These are 5 great truths!

1. You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity, by legislating the wealth out of prosperity.

2. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving.

3. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else.

4. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it.

5. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them; and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work, because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that is the beginning of the end of any nation

Columnist Maureen Dowd of The New York Times called Santorum "Mullah Rick," painting him as a religious fanatic who is raising issues "that were settled a long time ago." Santorum, she said, "is not ashamed to admit that he wants to take the country backward."

Backward meaning less out-of-wedlock births, less welfare, fewer abortions and to a time when marriage was between a man and woman in all 50 states? Count me in.

What liberals and RINOs fear the most is that Santorum really would appoint judges that will overturn Roe and end the idea of gay marriage being forced on the nation via the judiciary.

Well yes it can, as a matter of fact.

It is just that NEWT can explain things in just a few words, nobody does it better at getting to the point than NEWT.

Rick needs to know when to control his tongue, he keeps digging.

GO NEWT GINGRICH.

RE: Rick needs to know when to control his tongue, he keeps digging.

And Newt doesn’t need to control his? C’mon.

Remember just one statement that got him into trouble when he used the words “Right Wing Social Engineering” in reference to Paul Ryan’s health care plan?

Even his remark about Lunar colonies got a lot of flack from the press.

People WILL deliberately twist your words when they don’t like your political philosophy regardless of who you are — Newt, Romney or Rick.

If you are the anti-Obama candidate, GET USE TO IT.

yes it is also true for Newt- but he will take the fight right back to them, not look like a wimpy crybaby like Santorum does.

I LIKE Santorum, but I want gingrich at the top of the ticket with Santorum as VP- I think he can learn a lot from Newt and in 8 years be ready to kick ass.

for a total of 16 years of conservative REPAIR on this country.

Our Progressive adversaries hold conservatives to a standard of perfection, and themselves to a standard of mere intentionality.

There is nothing for which they cannot excuse themselves, including the demonstrable failure of their ideas. But there is nothing for which they can similarly credit any person of conservative temperament, and accordingly, the slightest personal flaw of each will always be conflated to the most monstrous dimension, the better to invalidate even their most obvious virtues.

Yep. I remember how the liberals all accused Reagan of being a religious fanatic.

They say the same thing baout Washigton, Hamilton and Adams.

BUT - at least he doesn’t believe he is going to be a GOD over his own planet. I’d rather vote for a religious fanatic who ascribes the same religion that made this American expeiriment last for more than 200 years.

Well, it is all the more likely that none of us are going to have our way if Mitt Romney wins tomorrow. Conservatives Unite in Michigan.

As long as the rule is applied equally, I have no problem with holding “everything you’ve said against you”...

Well said. Come tomorrow let’s home Santorum picks up MI and this will be all over. Santorum is leading in OH, PA, AL, TN, and is nipping on the heels in AZ and would win it if only Gingrich had gracefully bowed out of the race. The irony of ironies will be if Gingrich becomes the spoiler and gives us Romney. Gingrich is simply unelectable at this stage. He is trailing Obama by 15 points, his gender gap with women is of Grand Canyon proportions, and with $1.6m Fannie Mae wrapped around his neck and $T Nancy Pelosi cap and trade, he’s toast in the general elections. Right now he is trying to hold on desperately to GA but whoever wins MI and AZ will get enough momentum to bulldoze their way through Super-Tuesday.

No, Rick also says quite different things, such as his discussions of the global warming hoax, crony capitalist deals such as TARP, and opposition to individual mandates by government entities.
It struck me, though, that if you think that the attacks on Newt and Rick have been tough, if Milt buys the nomination, wait until you learn everything about the Mormon Church that you were afraid (or too uninterested about) to ask. Bob
