I sure hope so. What with the beating we’ve been taking and the apology president in office I don’t want anyone who won’t look our enemies in the eyes then kick them in the nuts. I’m sick of it. Go, Newt!
“Gingrich ...predicted that after the results in Michigan and Arizona Tuesday, the contest for the Republican nomination will “redefine itself once again.”
Hmmmmmm.....
Hope Newt’s right!!!
I would vote for Newt or Santorum. My wife would vote for Romney or Santorum. We know a lot of conservative couples like us.
Men just can't trust Mitt because of his Massachusetts resume. Women just can't trust Newt because of his bimbo eruption resume. Except, of course, the very conservative women and the very liberal women who loved Bill Clinton and would never vote for Newt. Like it or not, that's the harsh reality.
Excerpt from another article:
Gingrich predicted that after a good day on Super Tuesday, he will go on to win both Mississippi and Alabama, making him the front-runner once again.
I think we will win both those states the following week. And then, all of a sudden, the same media, which said I was dead in the fall, I was ahead in December, I was dead in early January, I was ahead in mid-January, all of a sudden some of them are going to say, some were saying yesterday, Gingrich will be back again, Gingrich said.
To bolster crowds, actor Chuck Norris will join Gingrich on the campaign trail in Georgia this week. Today, former presidential candidate Fred Thompson introduced a speech for Gingrich on the Tennessee capitol steps
Women just can’t trust Newt because of his bimbo eruption resume.

Hopefully, those women will come to agree with other women that support Newt— the country needs the best leader now that will change the course of the country— and look beyond the irrelevancy and situational elements of the the past misfortunes in his personal life.
Newt did not have “bimbo eruptions.” He married his 30-something old high school teacher when he was 19, and it ended in divorce a number of years later; he married a woman who was clearly a nutcase, they were separated with an agreement that permitted them both to date other people, they got back together again, and then she called him on his birthday and told him that she was cleaning out the house and leaving and planned to take him for everything she could get. At that point, they did get divorced, and then he married his current wife, to whom he has been married for a good number of years. I would hardly call that “bimbo eruptions.”
I actually think that the problem with the women’s vote is that most women, including conservative women, are much more liberal and will gravitate towards the liberals in any race. Deep down inside, a lot of women are “compassionate conservatives,” they feel that the government should be “taking care of us,” and they will always go for the person who reflects those views.
Both Romney and Santorum are big government, compassionate conservative types, and I think that’s the secret of their appeal to women. Also, Santorum comes across as weak and immature, and there are a lot of women who like that.
I hope so. I have an easy time believing that Newt or Romney could win, but a very much harder time thinking Santorum could.
Women like Santorum because they know that they can trust him, like none of the other candidates. What you see is what you get.
Is this a pro-Newt thread, or a Santorum attack thread? I don’t post to pro-Newt threads, but I do sometimes correct blatant misinformation on Santorum attack threads.
So Newt has the endorsement of an actor who played in Delta Force, whereas Santorum has the endorsement of an actual General officer who commanded Delta Force (Jerry Boykin).
As far as Senator Thompson goes, I like him, but people like to ignore the fact that his lifetime ACU rating is lower than Santorum's.
Great picture of Newt, our next Secretary of State : )
Did you check out the poll in the thread listed below on FR? He’s up 15% in Ga.
And check out Newt’s prediction post #5, this thread.
So, Mr. 60% Negatives is questioning someone ELSE’s electability?
Truth:
1st - Iowa
5th - New Hampshire (missed 4th by 50 votes)
3rd - South Carolina
3rd - Florida
4th - Nevada
1st - Colorado
1st - Missouri Primary
1st - Minnesota
More Truth: Gingrich:
4th - Iowa
4th - New Hampshire (by 50 votes)
3rd - South Carolina
2nd - Florida
2nd - Nevada
3rd - Colorado
N/S - Missouri Primary
4th - Minnesota
Gingrich has more below-3rd results (4) than Santorum (2).
Note: Gingrich wasn't part of Missouri; there were 3 major finishers, and also others who got some votes.
