Santorum only got 39% of the female vote when he tried to get reelected, it seems that when voting takes place, he doesn’t do so well with females.

I was surprised to see that he badly lost the Catholic vote in 2006 as well.

You know, that is kind of hard to do when the guy you are talking about was for the very socialist redistribution plan of Cap and Trade, even posing with the Queen Beeyotch on a couch. He also seemed to cater to insurance mandates.

1994 was a long time ago and most people remember how Newt got himself ousted, then went on to support some very liberal things.

That ain’t my fault, but that is what he is dealing with.

The attack on Bain movie was one of the worst ideas ever done from such a smart guy as Newt. The timing was incredibly stupid because the OWS thing was so fresh in peoples minds. It backfired in a bad way. He took himself out. I myself think he was set up, but his anger got the best of him.

See what people know is that while Newt may be smart, he isn’t always very wise.

Have any of you paid any attention to the things Newt said prior to and leading up to the primary season. He was with the global warming crew, he attacked the Paul Ryan plan as right wing social engineering. He supported cap and trade and who can possibly forget him sitting of the love seat with Pelosi. He also was for the individual mandate and gov. run healthcare. Please his claim to being a historical adviser to Fannie and Freddy is hard to swallow. Santorum at least has some core values he believes in and doesn't seem ready to sell them out.

Yes, Santorum is weak and immature, and I still can't believe he's leading in some states. What a fraud. Go become a preacher somewhere you wuss phony.

Women just can't trust Newt because of his bimbo eruption resume.

What bimbo eruptions? Newt has two failed marriages and one successful marriage. Seems pretty typically American to me.

Britt Hume will have a heart attack if Newt is the nominee. Go Newt!

Great picture of Newt, our next Secretary of State : )

I doubt Romney or Santorum would ever tap Gingrich for SOS. Establishment GOP hacks usually stay with their own.

Brit Hume has unresolved issues with his son that committed suicide.

Brit Hume needs major THERAPY. THERAPY would be a viable solution to Hume’s Newt hate. Hume has issues.

Hume knows he has issues, and Fox treats Hume with kid gloves.

Enough already Hume. Seek therapy and MOVE ON ALREADY.

You mean that Gingrich created history, he earned his place in the American history books as an effective conservative. Maybe you don’t know about the 1990s and the legislative branch of the Reagan Revolution.

Newt is considered wise enough that he won the endorsement of Freerepublic.

I have read that he blames Gingrich partly for his son's suicide. If this is the case, he has no business trying to be an objective analyst on FOX News. I quit watching FOX. I wonder if their ratings have gone down.

Santorum voted unions over FedEx.

That should resonate in Nashville, by Newt the Astute!

I remember it. I also keep in mind Newt’s behavior over the years. It isn’t all rosey.

You need to keep in mind that there are many more voters out there than just here on FR. What they think is how the vote will turnout.

Just the way it is. You may not agree or like it, but it really won’t matter.

I’ve heard the arguments against Newt. I’ve rejected them.

The man has a documented history of governance— I have heard nothing, or know of nothing, that indicates that he was anything but conservative during his tenure as Speaker-

2013 America, requires a person who will undo socialism-— Newt, unarguably, did that in 1994. That’s the record. All else is merely political argument— the factual history is what it is.

I’ll take counsel in the actual deeds— not the argument.
