Romney Wins Arizona GOP Primary .

Mitt Romney won the Arizona primary and was clinging to a small but persistent lead over Rick Santorum in Michigan Tuesday with about half of precincts reporting.

The former Massachusetts governor had been widely expected to win Arizona. Michigan was the fiercer battleground, and Mr. Santorum hoped a victory there would help him offset Mr. Romney's advantages in money, organization and experience.

But Mr. Romney held a lead of several percentage points in his native state, where his father was governor. If the narrow margin held up, it would give Mr. Romney momentum but might not dispel doubts about his ability to unify the party.

With 50% of Michigan's precincts reporting, Mr. Romney had 40% of the vote to Mr. Santorum's 36.2%. Texas Rep. Ron Paul had 11.5%, and former House Speaker Newt Gingrich had 6.6%.

In Michigan? Newt was ahead in the polls in Michigan? When was this?

In "Michigan"? When did I say in Michigan? My comment was meant to be about the national polls.

If Romney is the nominee then I am going to chew my arm off so I can escape voting for him.

Sadly, much of the tea party voted for Romney.

Many people are ignorant of the dangers of a Romney candidacy. This video was meant to be a satire but the end of it would be a great ad against Romney. Look at it, towards the end. It makes the points why Obama would love to run against Romney.

Spot on! I got “in line” and voted for Arnold and that type of stench is eternal. I will not exchange a tyrant for a dictator.

I’m aware of that. I’m curious, that’s why I asked you what I did. I don’t recall Newt ever being up in Michigan, but perhaps my memory is wrong.

Hardly. Anyone who thinks Romney is another McCain is just flat wrong. Unlike McCain, Romney can surely beat 0bama and by a landslide. Look, we would all like Reagan to come back and my vote is with Newt but JOB ONE is getting the OBOZO OUT OF OFFICE!!!! If you think Romney is a Democrat, FINE. IF VOTING FOR A DEMOCRAT IS WHAT IT TAKES TO GET THE MARXIST OUT OF THE WHITE HOUSE, I’LL GLADLY DO THAT. IT’S A START!!!!

Don’t judge all of AZ because they once again made a dumb decision. Well, on second thought go ahead and judge the idiots...just don’t lump ME in with THEM!

Need to investigate remote consoles.

No you don't. Trust me.

We don't have them at my unnamed place of employment for a REASON. UNLESS you employ a Citrix solution. Then, maybe, but we employ another two layers of security beyond just ID/PW, just to be triple sure.

Even then, we are abandoning even three-layer info-based security and going to a PIV card. Gotta have the card or no-way-Jose, and this is using CITRIX.

It pays to be a paranoid conspiracy freak in our field.

YOU? Naaaaaaaaaa.............you are SO cool...!!! Always have been, always will be.

I’ve seen Montana, what used to be..and still is in a lot of areas...a really neat state...being bought up by REALLY wealthy libs and voting accordingly.

My concern is just a generalized one. Not you. :)

Correct. As a Tucsonan Newt voter, I can tell you that there are plenty of good conservatives in AZ. Problem is, the major population centers have seen most of their population increases over the last couple of decades via liberals fleeing the conditions they created in their erstwhile states of residence, and bringing those values to AZ.

Obama wants Romney? Is that why Michael Moore urged everyone to vote for Santorum? Obama’s scared chitless of Romney because unlike Obama, he UNDERSTANDS AND SUPPORTS FREE-MARKET CAPITALISM.

Sounds like California. If we could get rid of 99% of LA and San Francisco....we’d have a state to DIE for...

Let me repeat this: Obama wants Romney. He’s practically campaigned against the one percent in hopes that he’d have Romney to campaign on class warfare with in the election.

Obama loathes Wall Street, and who represents Wall Street more than Mitt Romney. This goes back to Occupy Wall Street. It’s really that simple.

Absolutely agree with you. There are so many libs that move HERE because they didn’t like it THERE and once they’re HERE they want to make it like it was THERE!!!

I first came to AZ in 1995. Since that time it has seen monstrous immigration from California as the libs take it further down the spiral.

People say that this is an excuse. It is not. It’s the truth. Look at the growth of places like Bullhead City, Kingman, Lake Havasu City and the Burbs of the Phoenix/Tucson/Flagstaff areas. Most of those new residents came from either Mexico or California.

The ‘old timers’ (and bear in mind, most of AZ’s population was imported at some point otherwise the Tribes and a few others would be the only residents) that used to be the bedrock conservative base of the state are overwhelmed by straight liberals and Cali RINOs that hate the ‘regulation’ of Cali, but still want the ‘services and bennies’ they got there.
