The U.S. Treasury Department disrupted a Dubai-based banking operation that Washington believes had become Tehran's primary conduit for evading international sanctions and processing its oil sales, according to people briefed on the operation.
The effort was particularly sensitive because the targeted institution in the United Arab Emirates is partly owned by the local government of Dubai, a close U.S. ally. The chairman of the bank, called the Noor Islamic Bank, is the son of Dubai's ruler.

Things are escalating faster every day, it won’t be long until war is declared. Russia will come to Iran’s aid, and attack Israel itself.....but it will survive, Damascus will suffer a nuclear attack. Then we get to witness the worst time in human history.
Well, kind of like that. We also cut off Japan's oil and coal supplies. You can only back an animal so far into a corner before he strikes out. Same thing is gonna happen here. I suppose Iran could always shut down its Nuclear program, but it may be too late for that.
There are likely more than a few entities in many countries hoping to start up another world war with the hope of pulling the economy out of its depression.

If you want a mean dog you mistreat it. The Nazis were also sanctioned which led to unrest, WW2 and Holocaust. Our leaders won’t blink twice to use millions of human lives as fodder. Misinformation is used to convince them to become fodder. Be naive and trusting if you wish. I don’t trust any politician, government, corporation or their mouthpiece the media to give us anything other than lies and misinformation intended to keep power and create wealth for the few. Very bad days are potentially ahead for most. They will have us bickering about trivialities as part of the process.
