The 1965 Civil Rights Act still controls redistricting and voting bills in Texas (S.C., etc) and why Texas is dealing with the U.S. Supreme Court on our state’s redistricting (got 4 new Congressional seats due to people fleeing to Texas from places like Chicago and L.A.) and why our primary date is in limbo (now thought to be scheduled for May 29 with 155 delegates at stake).

AND

Our Voter Photo I.D. Bill has been languishing on U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder’s desk for his approval.

Yep, someone in high places doesn’t like Texas for standing up to the Fedgov and I think they are trying to teach us a lesson. I am SO MAD about this redistricing nonsense!
