On Tuesday, Georgetown law student and “reproductive rights activist” Sandra Fluke testified before the House Democratic Steering and Policy Committee to explain the obstacles female students face in acquiring birth control.

CNS News’ Craig Bannister reported that Fluke told the committee that it costs a female student $3,000 to have protected sex over a three-year stint in law school without insurance, and argued that there should be public assistance given to overcome that obstacle.

But according to Rush Limbaugh, if Fluke were given assistance from the government to have sex, she would in effect be getting paid to have sex.

What does tuition cost per semester at Georgetown - $25,000?

Take a semester off and she can fund all her sexual escapades for both undergrad and law school - simple.

I hope he doesn’t get sued for libel over his use of those terms. His point was quite dead on the money. Errr....maybe that wasn’t a good choice of words on MY part.

Obviously we need to get more kids into college so they can learn the business.

So $3000 over three years for birth control?

She should keep her legs closed, strap a coin box on her hips and say “bridge stays closed until you pay the toll.”

The nerve of these tramps.

More signs of the USA becoming morally bankrupt

As a nation we already are morally bankrupt. Worse, we've become wickedly immoral. Porn, sodomy, fornication, indecency and immodesty of all kinds is the norm and anyone who opposes such is derided as extreme, judgemental and intolerant. Up is down, good is evil and black is white. Such is the state of affairs in America through the looking glass. I pray we can find our way back!

A THOUSAND DOLLARS a year for birth control?

Another thread poster said that a month’s supply at Wal-Mart is only $9.

3 x 12= 36 x $9 is only $324.

What in the world could the additional money be for???

Since this ‘student’ leaves the impression that the only way a woman can get thru school is by selling herself, how brazen is she for asking taxpayers to pay for her activities??????

$3,000 to have protected sex over a three-year stint

That's hell of a lot of money for contraceptives. She must be spending a lot of time down the river at the Marine base at Quantico.

Reminds me of the story Walter Williams tells when guest hosting on Rush's show.

He said he was on a panel on a show, where a woman was complaining that she needed more welfare because she didn't have enough money to take care of her kids.

Dr. Williams' response was that it wasn't that she didn't have enough money for her kids, that she had too many kids for her money.

That's my response to this chick. It's not that she doesn't have enough money for her sex, it's that she's having too much sex for her money!

Ms. Fluke is getting some pretty expensive birth control. Condoms are pretty cheap and I’m sure she could likely get the 500 or so condoms she might need each year (one per day plus extras for weekends) at Wal Mart for a lot less than $1,000.

read today that MTV’s Snookie is pregnant by her boy friend. It occurred to me that Georgetown law student, Sandra Fluke, would make a great substitute for Snookie when she goes on maternity leave. They obviously have the same moral values.

She looks sooo Pleased with herself, doesn’t she? $3000 for three years of “protected sex.” Poor kid...she can’t afford sex and tuition!

This is going to backfire on the Left. Why? There are people struggling to keep LIFE SAVING MEDS in their lives daily and Ms. Fluke is whining she can’t sleep around? We have insurance...right now we are at $418 a month in co-pays for heart/cholesterol/bp/diabetic meds & testing supplies. Husband is diabetic, has had one big HA, has stents, and relies on meds to keep him functioning. A couple of weeks ago went inside the pharmacy—instead of drive thru-—just about torch and pitch fork time with those in line commiserating on what “we” pay and what others “expect to get for free.”.

You want someone to pay you for having sex?

I guess there are a lot of other names you could use too.

I wonder what the Jesuit response will be to this.

It will be, at best, crickets. I know. Our kid went to Georgetown. I was revolted by their anti-Christian policies regarding sex and feminism.

she is probably considering the morning after pill which is more expensive than the condom. Is it wide use now??
