On Tuesday, Georgetown law student and “reproductive rights activist” Sandra Fluke testified before the House Democratic Steering and Policy Committee to explain the obstacles female students face in acquiring birth control.
CNS News’ Craig Bannister reported that Fluke told the committee that it costs a female student $3,000 to have protected sex over a three-year stint in law school without insurance, and argued that there should be public assistance given to overcome that obstacle.
But according to Rush Limbaugh, if Fluke were given assistance from the government to have sex, she would in effect be getting paid to have sex.

This is going to backfire on the Left. Why? There are people struggling to keep LIFE SAVING MEDS in their lives daily and Ms. Fluke is whining she can’t sleep around? We have insurance...right now we are at $418 a month in co-pays for heart/cholesterol/bp/diabetic meds & testing supplies. Husband is diabetic, has had one big HA, has stents, and relies on meds to keep him functioning. A couple of weeks ago went inside the pharmacy—instead of drive thru-—just about torch and pitch fork time with those in line commiserating on what “we” pay and what others “expect to get for free.”.

This flake is what? 19 or 20 years old? Of course she has no idea the cost if co-pays for heart/cholesterol/bp/diabetic meds & testing supplies. The only care in this world for her right now is her Pill or her Depo shot! Maybe a condom if she has any lick of sense. Oh sheese for that matter she has never been to the maternity ward and never will if Planned Barrenhood has its way. So in her little know it all mind she thinks birth control is expensive, and should be “covered”. Actually I hope, and please forgive me for this, she does get birth control, do we really need more libs like that breeding?

I did the math. If she bough condoms by the gross (that would be a box of 144 condoms for you folks in Rio Linda) el-Sluto could have sex 18 to 68 times a day of she spent $1,000/year on condoms.

Yes, it is in wide use. What female wants to go to a gynecologist and be examined and possibly lectured when you can get high dose hormone pills at the pharmacy. Gyn exams are invasive, you know. And morning after pills are so convenient. No one needs to know how slutty you are. Until you start having cysts and STDs and unexpected pregnancy/miscarriage. These stupid girls want sex with no consequences, but there is no such thing.
I would kill to be a congressman on this committee, only for a day. I would be recalled tomorrow, but today would be worth it.
In the 80s I worked for a DC-based magazine with a lot of Georgetown graduates. I was newly discharged from the military, and had grown up as a military “brat” with a lot of non-US experience. Let me just say I was stupified by the stupidity of people educated beyond their intelligence. It was a good lesson in the orientation of the mind-set of the protected class.
A whole bunch of folks will be removed from their protected status this year. 2012 is not going to be good.
