Andrew passed away unexpectedly from natural causes shortly after midnight this morning in Los Angeles.
We have lost a husband, a father, a son, a brother, a dear friend, a patriot and a happy warrior.
Andrew lived boldly, so that we more timid souls would dare to live freely and fully, and fight for the fragile liberty he showed us how to love.
Andrew recently wrote a new conclusion to his book, Righteous Indignation:
I love my job. I love fighting for what I believe in. I love having fun while doing it. I love reporting stories that the Complex refuses to report. I love fighting back, I love finding allies, and—famously—I enjoy making enemies.
Three years ago, I was mostly a behind-the-scenes guy who linked to stuff on a very popular website. I always wondered what it would be like to enter the public realm to fight for what I believe in. I’ve lost friends, perhaps dozens. But I’ve gained hundreds, thousands—who knows?—of allies. At the end of the day, I can look at myself in the mirror, and I sleep very well at night.

What sad, sad news. Prayers for Andrew and his family. Andrew was a FReeper from way back.

Not officially (as on a death certificate), but in the early going after a death it is a useful way of distinguishing between e.g. homicide, suicide, accident, or “natural causes” (e.g. massive stroke).
If true, keep in mind that Mr. Breitbart’s friends and family have a LOT to do besides apprising his conservative fans of every last detail of what happened to him. I’m sure the details of his death will come out in due time.

Possible explanation, sites were hacked, time for this hoax was set for April 1, but they erred on the date and input 3/1/2012 instead of 4/1/2012.
If true, better check for foul play. A thorough autopsy.

Equally stunned. He was posting on twitter 6 hours ago. Now, it’s being confirmed on Twitter by friends that he has indeed died. WOW!
A close friend of Andrew is on local radio here in Indy. It is true, he died of a massive heart attack.
This guy who is Big Government is crying and can hardly speak.

Time will tell, and it won’t take much.
I saw the Hollywood link 20 minutes ago and still nothing anywhere.
I went to his site with Google Chrome (which I don’t normally use) and it behaved very weirdly.
Fox Nation just picked it up and Michelle Malkin also just tweeted it.
