If I may offer a ray of hope, I was very surprised today, here in the People’s Republic of Minnesota, that in the comments section of the Minneapolis Star Tribune (aka Pravda-Minnesota) that quite a few people self-identified as being ideological opposites of Andrew, but nevertheless respectfully mourned his passing. I was shocked. I was fully expecting an onslaught of the giddy vitriol of immature leftist punks. But by and large, the posts appeared to be of genuine condolences. I couldn’t believe it.

What can one say? Polecats spray? Keep your grage door down.

What bothers me is the thought of what his wife and kids are suffering. And the fact that my son, who is the same age, and working his buns off much like Andrew.

Prayers for his soul, asnd even for these poor batards who hate him so much, even in death. Expecto resurrectionem mortuum.

I suppose one could tweet right back “What hell? I thought you said there wasn’t one.” But they don’t grok the obvious.

I don’t remember a whole lot of “Mary Jo is in a better place than you” being removed upon the Ted’s passing.

The truth hurts, but it is still the truth.

I certainly hope you are not comparing something like that to the sadistic vitriol being spewed about Breitbart today.

Kellie Allen @thirtyseven : Breitbart helped destroy the career of someone I know. Good riddance, scumraker.

Gee, I wonder who that someone is. I wonder how well this Kellie Allen knew him. And what would Huma say?

Anyhow who doubts these are the kind of people who would cheerfully load fellow humans on trains headed for a death camps just needs to read some of these comments.

“What happened to the call for civility?”

Inside the heart of every leftist, no matter how mild and innocuous they may appear, is a desperate, driven, obssessed little Pol Pot trying to claw his way out into the world.

Burn in hell? No way they would let Andrew in. He would completely confuse and tongue-tie Satan and would be ejected within minutes.

Not just tweets but also talk radio.. drug-addled Don Imus got a big, laughing kick out of Rolling Stone magazine Matt Taibbi's "Andrew Breitbart: Death of a Douche"

Imus also thought it was amusing that someone had defaced Andrew Breitbart's wiki article.

I say drug-addled because alcohol vacates the body but I believe drugs are with you forever. I say drug addled because he ran a poll of his listeners to pick a name for Rick Santorum, A- Butt Juice or B- Eye Pus. He settled for Butt Pus.

When a lib freak dies, the FreeRepublic posts are consistently “prayers up for the family”, or “rest in peace”. When a conservative dies, the libs are pure evil. How can outsiders who read these things not notice the difference in the hearts of both sides? Just askin’...

Conservatives deserve to die in the eyes of some, it seems.

Exhibit 1: The "Great Purge" 1936 - 1938.

Totalitarians never change their stripes.
