With Romney somehow in the lead and presumably heading towards becoming the GOP Nominee, how do you intend to vote in November?

You are not going to "show them" that you will not be controlled...

Especially not when there are so many others willing to take it up the backside. As long as it keeps working for them, they'll keep doing it.

I'll vote for a third-party candidate.

It's pathetic that some can't see Romney will do more harm to conservatism than four more years of a lame-duck liberal.

Electing Romney means it will be eight years before a conservative can be elected. His election will result in Republicans losing seats in Congress and at the state level. He'll move the Republican party to the left and send the message to the Republican establishment that conservatives will always buckle and vote for the Republican nominee. He'll be able to work with RINOs and Democrats to get liberal legislation passed Obama could only dream of.

I’d vote for Lindsay Lohan if she were the only other person on the ballot running against Obama.

You'd vote for Arnold Schwarzenegger and Michael Bloomberg if they were running against Obama? How did their elections work out? Why would you expect a Romney Presidency to work out any differently?

Under this idea of the moderate liberal choice to a extreme liberal choice, I will do a write in. Though, at this time, I am not giving up hope that Mitt will get this since he cannot beat the One/ both are liberals, liars, and have set into law socialized medicine. The media vs. the people. People have to wake up. Keeping praying.

"If Romney is the nominee I will not only NOT vote for him but I will actively campaign AGAINST him. I will write negative letters to the editorial pages of newspapers and talk radio. I will urge my friend to vote third party.
If it is Obama vs. Romney - with Obama we have only 4 years of liberal policies and we have a chance of a real conservative in 4 years. If Romney won we’d have a liberal for 8 years.
I’d rather suffer for 4 years rather than 8 years."

Well said. I'm thinking the exact same.

I agree, I will vote for anyone, other than Obama!

If Bill Clinton could run for a third term and ended up being the Republican nominee, he'd have a more conservative record than Romney to run. Under that scenario, would you vote for Bill?

In 20 years, conservatives are now willing to vote for candidates more liberal and just as dishonest as Bill Clinton.

We continue to slouch toward Gomorrah.

I am sure I am in the minority, but the whole idea to succeed with a strong America, strong morals is by supporting conservatism. re: limited government, free market and protecting our liberties. Why in the world or how can I tell my brain, to support Romney when he is the very thing that I am against. We are accommodating the decay and watering down conservatism. We give in, we are powerless. Very sad thing to settle for a Massacuhetts liberal. I wrote McCain a letter and saw him in person ( I told him that I could never support him) Once he got Palin, I voted for that ticket knowing she would keep the conservative platform alive. Here, we go again. The GOP will pull another fast one because people are giving in. We need Newt to clean up this mess. I want to win with reforms agenda; vote against the machine on Super Tuesday. Don't give up.

his is also about Obama getting to choose 2-3 Supreme Court judges

Actually, Anthony Kennedy has said he will not return with Obama in the White House. A Romney victory might well compel him to, however. Whose to say Romney won't move the court to the left by putting up an another David Souter in his place?

Romney's record on judges in Massachusetts was a disaster.

the difference is that even a social liberal like Romney is far more likely to work within the constraints of the Constitution than has the current socialist

But, RINO Republicans like McCain and Lindsey Graham are far more likely to work with Romney to get leftist legislation passed than they are to do so with Obama.

You make a good point, yet it may be worth the "price" of accepting some leftist-type social legislation in order to save the Constitution and preserve our republic. I think this is literally what is at stake here.

As Dennis Prager has noted, liberalism/democratic socialism is intoxicating ... and with four more years of building increasing dependency on government and undermining the Constitution, it may be impossible to turn it around.

Friend, you do exactly what you want to do and I will do exactly what I want to do. I did my 20 years in the military to give you and I both the right to make that decision. If I choose not to vote for a leftist Obama or a leftist liberal Romney, that is my RIGHT! I bled for it. I will vote the rest of my ticket. But I REFUSE to vote for any more stinking RINOs. You do what ever you want! MY conscience is CLEAR!

Ironically, that is more likely to happen with Romney in office working with RINOS and Democrats. Romney won't repeal Obamacare, for example, he'll make it his own.

At least if Obama is in office, Republicans will gain seats in congress and be able to stop any further damage. In fact, the best chance of eliminating Obamacare is enough conservatives in Congress with the courage to defund it.

Another vote that helps Obama ... but at least you'll feel good about yourself that you stood on principle.

No, not at all. I am voting for conservatism. I am not voting for one of two candidates who will do damage to conservatism.

Hey, lots of us have been saying this since 2007 at least. I supported McCain in 2008 and what I got for my efforts was a piss-poor campaign where Obama was allowed to tout his semi-socialist ideology to his heart's content with nary a peep from McCain who did absolutely nothing to advance the cause from the top of the ticket.

I am done voting for liberals masquerading as conservatives. Got it? DONE! If you want my vote, run a conservative.

When did Conan the Barbarian and Sim City run for President? I missed it. I thought only their idiot minions in California and New York voted in their elections.

I'm going to be voting in November. I'll be voting on local, state and national representation. I may as well also vote for a president that might help my votes for senate/house rather than be assured nothing will be repealed regardless of the house and senate.

Why would you think Romney can be trusted anymore than Schwarzenegger or Bloomberg could be? Romney is no more conservative than either one.

Thanks for making my point! Why do you trust Obama so much? I thought you were conservative. Why do you want Obama to be in office if Romney ends up being our GOP STINK BAG candidate again?

Do you see where I'm going here? I don't want Romney as president. I loath the idea. He'll make republicans look bad. But at least we'll have a republican presdent working with a republican house and senate. Given a choice between voting for a hot steamy pile of horse shit and voting for Obama, I'd like to be represented by something comparitively palatable. I'll swallow hard and pull the lever for Romney if I have too.

If Obama gets re-elected I don't think any of us will get anywhere whining to each other about, "I told you so. That'll show the establishment GOP. They'll learn for the next election. By gawd we'll help this country go to hell to teach those a$$hats we're serious about a conservative candidate. They'll take us seriously the next election."

There may not be a next election for us.

This more than just the POTUS. This is also about Obama getting to choose 2-3 Supreme Court judges. People that say they won’t vote will give us an Obama court for 30-40 years.

Uhhhh.....

Mitt Romney’s Troubling Appointments

Guess what? With Romney, we'll have more liberals on the court, and they will have been appointed by a Republican. How does that grab you?
