'Go to Hell Barack': Row Over Washington Metro Ad
AFP via Yahoo News ^ | March 2, 2012 | Staff

In the heat of a US presidential election year, with Americans immune to the polarized and bitter nature of political discourse, it takes a lot to shock them, especially in Washington.

But one ad at a DC Metro station -- which starts off criticizing Obama's health care reforms and ends up telling the president to "go to hell" -- goes beyond the pale, says Jim Moran, a Democratic congressman from Virginia.

The advertisement is for "Sick and Sicker: When the Government Becomes Your Doctor," a documentary that interviews Canadian doctors and patients in the hope of showing how dangerous "Obamacare" is for the American people.

"Barack Obama wants politicians and bureaucrats to control America’s entire medical system. Go to hell Barack," the ad says.

Someone needs to educate Moran the moron that the [so called] “president” is not emperor, as Hussein seems to believe, but merely a politician, and the current usurper is lower than sewage scum, so telling him to “go to hell” is a step up.

Well Mr Moron, you didn't seem too offended when your COLLEGE Maxine Waters told US to "go to hell".

So, they can write novels or plays about assassinating Bush, and they can say Henry Hyde ought to be stoned to death, but just saying “go to hell” that’s over-the-top.

I know they’re pushing for it and causing it to happen, but I can’t wait for all hell to break loose.

The payback is going to be so damn fun.

When dialog breaks down, violence breaks out.

Personally, I can’t wait.

I agree with the spirit of the message, but I wouldn’t wish Hell on my worst enemy. Hell is: Eternal w/ no escape, hot /12K degrees F, no water, tormented by demons, other lost souls and your own thoughts of regret , intense pain,... did i mention Hot?

LOL, you're too literal. You have to look at the effects.

Hell is fear.

Endless fear.

That's why John 4:18 says: "There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love."

Love is from God, and is perfect, and so the opposite of hell - yes? So, hell is endless fear - the opposite of perfect love.

NOT that experiencing fear at any particular time means one is being evil. These are conceptual absolutes. There are many psychotics running around that believe they are feeling love, or talk endlessly about love, while doing evil. And many brave people feeling fear while doing God's will, and tremendous good.

What it's really all about is what makes up a person's soul, not any particular experience. And after death, that's what God lets you experience - your own soul.

And what you've made of it.

Well, if we can't put a stop to this through the process, even though the Rats subverted the process to pass the healthcare bill, well, then there will be efforts to rectify the situation through other means where they will not get it until it gets to the point where the price will be too high for them to pay. I wrote a little scenario where things could be headed:

I've posted this many times before but what if somebody is denied healthcare under Bammycare? People naturally have spouses, children, siblings, friends, parents, grandparents, etc. depending on the age of the one denied. I would hate to be a member of a death panel making such a decision to deny. I'd stay out of dark allies, look under my car before starting it, keep my eyes out for shadows, and jump at every noise I hear at night. Is that noise I hear at 2:30 AM the neighbor's cat or is it Grandpa Jones' grandson, which I denied care to his granddad, with a posse of his friends armed with baseball bats and a shotgun? How about blocking the road in front of me, an old lady in a 1967 Caddy. Did she break down or is she the wife of the man who I denied a hip replacement to, waiting for me where as I step out of my car to help, the last thing I hear is a .45 going off just before St. Peter appears. It's 10 PM, my kid is late in coming home and the phone rings. How about this, what if I denied care to a Tony Soprano?

I know under the insurance companies, there are cases of denial but in a lot of cases, you can get the doctor and hospital to get them to reverse their decision or just go ahead and let the family pay for it and/or go on a charity case. Not so with the government, if you are denied, there is very little redress at all. Ayn Rand put in in a long monologue where it boils down to this, "the more laws you create, the more criminals you make" and when you eliminate the process and route where one can make a challenge to make things right legally, that leaves only one other way, revenge and/or at least forced coercion via illegal means. This is a pandora's box to be sure, people will do anything for their loved ones and for survival.

I remember Quark's quote from DS9 (Star Trek) about us humans, "Let me tell you something about humans, nephew. They're a wonderful, friendly people as long as their bellies are full and their holosuites are working. But take away their creature comforts, deprive them of food, sleep, sonic showers, put their lives in jeopardy over an extended period of time and those same friendly, intelligent, wonderful people will become as nasty and as violent as the most blood-thirsty Klingon."

I don't feel comfortable in visioning this scenario, but if we keep going on the present track, it will happen.

No need to apologize for a double post.

Moran is genuinely a double pansy metrosexual overly sensitive a$$kissing hate America socialist liberal. So it is entirely appropriate.

How does this asswipe keep getting elected in Va? If it is from the large group of a pond scum sucking DC crowd who live there, the DC area needs to be expanded to eliminate that vote.
