All fine and dandy, except Kim does not have a blog, it's a website.

You
do know that Laz is
al baby famous for "PROUDLY POSTING WITHOUT READING THE ARTICLE SINCE 1999!"?, don't you?
Oh, the freaking IRONY!!!
Plus, Kim might have posted a hot picture of herself on the article.
Do these n00bs know NOTHING, Laz? Is this a single or a double facepalm?

Also, regarding Kims statement not being a blog, in common understanding, a blog is a self-published statement of personal opinion (as distinct from an editorial or column, where the writer is being paid to write her opinion). As such, Kims web posting qualifies.I definitely don't call a website of a radio host a blog, but I imagine she's getting paid for her efforts, violating your definition.

I call your attention - once again - to this thread. Posted by a sheer genius (blushing)
You do know that you can post more than 10 words in a thread, don't you?
See, I'm sure you didn't intend to hijack your own thread and draw attention away from the Kim Kommando comments. But that's exactly what happened. Now, if you had provided a better excerpt, we would not have had such a flame war as we have had.
Wait. Flame wars are more fun.
Ping me the next time you post another excerpt, mm-kay. This is fun!

Yes, nothing like at least having a quick summary or a comment about the content for brevity’s sake. Posting an article should automatically motivate the opinion of the poster and I can never understand why some post with no comment.

Plus, Kim might have posted a hot picture of herself on the article. If she wasn't married, didn't have a "blog", and Laz had already been there, I'd hit it.....

Even the Chief of the Blog-Pimp Police isn’t dumb enough to get involved in this one. **snicker**

This flap has the earmarks of a Media Matters campaign.

Agreed - class act for sure.
She has a lot of listeners and they’ve just realized she’s as smart as they’ve always thought she was. She knew all these people complaining were put up to it and weren’t really her listeners at all.

Why the heck would anyone give Kim hassles over what Rush says? Liberals are insane.

No, it’s more like we dislike rewarding blog pimps with gratuitous hits. If the article has something to say, have the excerpt include the MEAT of the article, rather than just a teaser. Unless that’s done, I won’t go there.

Seriously? Seriously? Kim Komando is now a BLOG PIMP? Figure out what’s going on before you jump in and eat your feet. No one is pimping their blog here.

Ken Komando's husband is Barry Young, morning show host on KFYI-AM, Phoenix. Mr. Young is a libertarian-leaning Republican who believes that Libertarians are often unreasonable nuts. Mr. Young has a keen understanding of, and is an uncompromising supporter of. the U.S. Constitution, though he is not an attorney. He is also the owner of the corporation that syndicates Ms Komando's show. He apparently sows his Constitutional position in his home.
I am not an unqualified fan of Barry Young. Sometimes I feel like going down to the studios and beating his fanny with a sjambok, for some of the things he says.
And I wish his co-host, Michelle, Larson would quit flirting with him. He is a happily married man.

What all this said, I know that some of the comments directed at me have come from long time listeners to my program. I appreciate them all. But many others are not my listeners. Rather, they are individuals who have been motivated by commentators, bloggers and others with a particular political agenda. It is therefore clear that there is an on-going attempt to use me and my program as leverage to bring further pressure upon Rush Limbaugh.
This is what Media Matters does. At least this time, they didn't have to totally take a comment out of context to generate outrage (which is their typical manner of operation).
