Baby Found in Field Among Dead Family Members Dies in Hospital

The toddler found among the bodies of her family members in a field outside a home in New Pekin, Ind., that was flattened by a powerful tornado, died today of traumatic brain injuries.
Twenty-month-old Angel Babcock was taken to Kosair Children's Hospital in Louisville, Ky., Saturday, where she was placed on life support.

The rest of the family was killed in the tornado Friday. The baby was thrown into a nearby field by the tornado, where she was found by rescuers.

Just on Fox the baby died about 2 hours ago.

Yes. This is the “10 miles from home” baby that apparently wasn’t really found that far from her home. The 10 miles part of the story seems to persist, though.
Baby and family, RIP.
