Posted on 03/04/2012 7:17:45 PM PST by txroadkill
Prior to his passing, Andrew Breitbart said that the mission of the Breitbart empire was to exemplify the free and fearless press that our Constitution protects--but which, increasingly, the mainstream media denies us.

I love him. I miss him very much.

The site is getting slammed. I keep getting error messages, but I saw a glimpse of it... glad to see it’s finally launched and hope they can get their server situation worked out!

Very interesting article. I wonder if there is video of 0bama on that discussion panel.
I have it up in another tab. There is supposed to be a picture of the poster with BO’s picture on it and a press release. You can’t see either one, but I’m sure it will be fixed by morning.
BO will rue the day Andrew left us because now we are all Andrew Breitbart.
Damn. I can’t see the poster...just the litte red “X”. But I get the idea from the article.
Thank you Andrew.
Obama, and Ayers and everyone else who follows Saul Alinsky: can you not see the folly of it?
Are you all so drunk with thoughts of your own brilliance that you let yourselves be so easily fooled?
All of liberalism is self-defeating, from beginning to end!
Like Lee Atwater before him, we lost Andrew Breitbart way too young. But we will fight on and save our country.
Oh Lord please let Newt read this. Let him be as fearless as Andrew himself. He is the most articulate of all of them, he is the bravest.
Please Newt, take the ball. Breitbart set it all up for you.
And called on him by NAME.
I am a bit older than Breitbart, and I had readily conceded that his views on liberalism were bound to be more well developed and focused than mine, and I cannot say how gratifying it is to hear Breitbart's views and realize that I have arrived at the same destinations and focal points, though not perhaps by the same path.
It is not so much that he and I are in agreement, but that we arrived at the same conclusions by differing thought processes.
It is validation for me.
Normally, I try not to place so much stock in validation, but in my journey to this spot, I have deliberately charged myself with questioning my premises, again, and again, and again.
Retrospection is a trait most liberals lack, and I have deliberately tried to ensure I am less likely to fall into that trap. I constantly question whether I am wrong or not.
Andrew Breitbart, may he rest in peace, has gone a long way to lessen the load of that self-imposed burden of doubt.
To listen to leftist politicians these days—from Obama to Sebelius and many others—is to understand that their values are no different from the godless Third Reich or the Roman minions of Caligula.
The difference is that our present day Caligulas cannot openly commit Caligula-like acts as Caligula and Hitler did, because the liberty of our nation still holds them accountable. It is still the Liberty of God.
“Now the Lord is the Spirit, where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.” (2 Corinthians 3:17)
I noticed that too!
Outstanding! Breitbart is still fighting the good fight!
The web site looks so beautifully done. A fitting tribute to a wonderful man. Andrew would be so proud right now. Andrew is fighting the good fight from heaven, we will make him proud
“The play finishes with Alinsky announcing hed rather go to Hell than Heaven. Why? ‘More comfortable there.’”
Alinsky dedicated his book to Lucifer, the father of all lies.
If people can’t recognize a lie when someone tells them hell is more comfortable than heaven, they’re foolish enough to be an Obama supporter.
Andrew knew the left could take care of themselves - he's the person who coined the term: Democrat-media complex. The above paragrah doesn't sound like Andrew - it sounds like some liberal saying all sides need to be held accountable. As if there's parity between us in the MSM. There IS NO parity. That's what Andrew - a freeper by the way - knew... That 'regardless of party' stuff is what I hear from every liberal... who wrote this?
Does anyone know if webkit-fake-url is used as a legitimate placeholder -- or has BREITBART.COM been hacked?
Not to "pimp my BLOG" but I pretty much had the same reaction to his book. http://texasroadkill.org/index.php/component/content/article/34-blog/52-we-have-lost-our-general
I was one of the lucky ones and got to correspond with him after I read his book and it changed who I was which is a lot. I had been a FReeper for years before Breitbart came to the national spotlight, how do you get more radicalized then being a FReeper??? But I did, he had that effect and I am so very grateful to him.
Both Quentin Young and Studs Terkel were secret members of the Communist Party USA according to both Congressional Record articles and congressional testimony (Young took the First Amendment rather than the 5th instead of directly answering the question about his membership in a specific CP Club). Terkel was identified as a CPUSA member in several reports put into the Congressional Record by Rep. Larry McDonald (D-GA).
All of this information and much more on those listed in the article can be found at www.keywiki.org, search for their name in the Search Box at the left of the Main Page.
David S. Canter was not only a secret member of the Communist Party USA, but was also Soviet agent of influence (propaganda), and had personal ties to Obama, the extent of which is not known, but was confirmed by Canter’s son Mark)
Canter worked with Don Rose, another marxist leftist, and both were mentors of David Axelrod, Obama’s top political advisor besides Valerie Jarrett, who has some CP skeletons in her closet. Also see Keywiki.org on her background.
The rest in the list were veteran communists of several stripes. Sid Lens was a leader of the Revolutionary Communist League, and was the key intermediary between the CPUSA dominated factions of the Hanoi Lobby (Nat. Mobe/New Mobe), and the Trotskyite Socialist Workers Party fronts, the Student Mobilization Committee to End the War in Vietnam and later NPAC (National Peace Action Coalition).
There is sworn congressional testimony on Lens’ role in the 1969 New Mobe founding conference. (See: Extent of Subversion in Campus Disorders: Part 2, Aug. 16, 1969, Sen. Internal Security Subcommittee).
One of Canter’s colleagues in CP operations was Leroy Wolins, a veteran CPUSA member, the originator of the Vietnam Veterans Against the War in Vietnam, Veterans for Peace - a CPUSA front, and a CP conduit into SWP GI front groups during the Vietnam war.
Obama’s friends were the cream of the crop of the Communist Party USA and its surrounding support networks in Chicago, including the Chicago Committee to Defend the Bill of Rights (including Frank Marshall Davis, Rabbi Arnold J. Wolf, CPUSA leader Richard Criley and other Chicago leftists).
See Keywiki for more on this whole Communist-Obama network as well as its’ leader, Trevor Loudon’s new book on Obama, taken from his columns at www.newzeal.blogspot.com.
They must still be working out some of the glitches, cause I can see the main poster but not the other two images (only small x’s).
Unfortunately, the comments section immediately went off topic onto the Georgetown slut jokers - resembling the comments over at FrontPageMag which I no longer bother with because of the persistent hijacking of commentary.
God bless Andrew. We should thank him by saying kaddish for him thru November 2012
I hope no one does that. It will be wall to wall coverage, and will prolong their diversion. We have to get back and STAY on message.
I tweeted the send fluke condoms idea out yesterday or the day before. The idea was well received.

Wonder if "Baraka" disclosed that alias on his job/security clearance applications?
ETL: Ping; especially the poster. It is in the article, but Matt1234 found a jpg.
Lucyt: Ping to article and poster
Uh- Obama is sitting in the White House. Seems to have worked out well for him.
Reload the page...it worked for me, at least.
“In the 1930s, the Communist Party in Chicago reached its largest audience through organizing the unemployed and protesting evictions and cuts in relief. Black Belt organizers recruited protesters at Washington Park, while Communists in Back of the Yards built alliances with community activists like Roman Catholic bishop Bernard Sheil and Saul Alinsky. When police killed two black workers protesting an eviction in 1931, Communists led an interracial funeral procession estimated at 60,000 by the party and 15,000 by the Chicago Daily News.”
Another “red” spotted on the poster - Alderman David Orr. Long record of supporting CPUSA fronts and causes.
Also see www.keywiki.org for information on him.
. . . . Article, then see graphic at # 26.
Also see link to duplicate thread shown at # 36.
Pick the pic shown to go the poster. Pick the pic itself to enlarge it and scroll to the bottom. Lower left corner...Baraka OBAMA.
Ah, you beat me to it. Sometimes it helps to read down the thread before replying.
The following link is to an old FR thread, about an even older conservative booklet called “The Revolution Was”, written in 1938 about FDR and the New Deal. It is ALL happening again. An excerpt (brackets are my comments):
Outside of the Communist party and its aurora of radical intellectuals few Americans seemed to know that revolution had become a department of knowledge, with a philosophy and a doctorate of its own, a language, a great body of experimental data, schools of method, textbooks, and manuals and this was revolution regarded not as an act of heroic redress in a particular situation, but revolution as a means to power in the abstract ease.
There was a prodigious literature of revolutionary thought concealed only by the respectability of its dress. ......
To the revolutionary this same dreary stuff was the most exciting reading in the world. It was knowledge that gave him a sense of power. One who mastered the subject to the point of excellence could be fairly sure of a livelihood by teaching and writing [Ayers!, etc.], that is, by imparting it to others, and meanwhile dream of passing at a single leap from this mean obscurity to the prestige of one who assists in the manipulation of great happenings; while one who mastered it to the point of genius that one [Obama] might dream of becoming himself the next Lenin. .......
Amen, and on his Yahrzeit, the anniversary of his death..

"Kill all the rich people. Break up their cars and apartments. Bring the revolution home, kill your parents, that's where it's really at"
--Bill Ayers ("intellectual") (1970), quoted in New York Times, September 11, 2001:
Article: "No Regrets for a Love Of Explosives; In a Memoir of Sorts, a War Protester Talks of Life With the Weathermen"
"It was at the Chicago home of [Bill] Ayers and [Bernardine] Dohrn that ["intellectual"] Obama, then an up-and-coming 'community organizer,' had his political coming out party in 1995. Not content with this rite of passage in Lefty World where unrepentant terrorists are regarded as progressive luminaries, still working 'only to educate' both Obamas tended to the relationship with the Ayers."
